robbie williams I do wish they had not called her "Miss Grace Kelly", but oh well. I had seen photos of her in this outfit but never video - she was just the most beautiful woman who ever lived. And her heart was beautiful as well, not always a combination that is found in one person.
I don't know but for me Anne Bancroft always be my sentimental fave of actress.. Everybody gushed over Grace Kelly but for me Bancroft was far more beautiful and talented but sadly underrated
I agree! She isn't talked about enough for her work as an actress. When people think of her, all they see is Mrs. Robinson or they don't know who she is at all. She was gorgeous, sexy, and stunning, for sure! However, she was extremely talented as a dramatic actress of the stage and screen. The Miracle Worker is one of the most influential and beautiful films of hers I've ever seen.
what a beautiful video 😍😍😍😍 love these actresses ❤ but in the 30s i would like to see Norma Shearer, she was one of the most beautiful and great actress of the 30s!
This is just wonderful, I am so glad I found the link! My cousin is here, she passed away before the Internet even existed so this is even more special! And the incredible Katharine Hepburn, my sweet daughter is named for her. Hollywood used to be so magical!
Youtubio Tubess She is the same age as the Oscars. Hard to believe she turned 40 the year this video was made. And crazy that she thought she was no longer beautiful! It is so cool to have this footage, there just isn't very much after she left Hollywood. (For MONaco, Americans were still saying it wrong in 1969 :0))
Griffin Mathers Grace Kelly was borne on 12th November in 1929 so actually if this oscar show was encore the mounth of April actually she was 38 years old but yeah she was à great beauty at this âge 😀
Anne Bancroft is my favorite. I love that she looks like a stunning Greek goddess 😍. Her deep and sultry Brooklyn accent turns me on. She had the ASMR voice LONG before ASMR (or even internet, for that matter) was around. I would have loved to hear her narrate an audiobook 🥰
It was so touching when Anne said the next 40 years listrn folks you aint heard nothing yet.....Now we have cgi and a lot more, its so sad to see these actors and actresses that most have passed, bette, katharine ,mary, gregory, ingrid, claudette, vivien and other oscar winners honorary and competitive like judy garland, garbo, next year, it would be Oscar's 90th birthday , could you do something like this agakn and it would be touching if Olivia de Havilland joined also
@@CharlieChilders-wm9gb you can tell since she's looking directly at the camera, you can see that the other ladies were looking at cue cards by staring at their eyes
I remember this live in 1969. The winners featured could have been better represented by great performances from Sophia Loren, Marlon Brando, Shirley Booth, Ernest Borgnine, Ronald Colman, and Robert Donat instead of silly ones like Mary Pickford, George Arliss, Joan Crawford, Gary Cooper (in High Noon), and Julie Andrews.
She was raised in an affluent upper class family in the 1930´s and 40´s, it was probably frowned upon to have a strong American accent in their social circles. Also, back in those days the American accent wasn´t as strong as it is now.
K Hepburn?! The K Hepburn who nvr turn up for any o her 12 noms, does a tribute for Oscar!!🤔 Lit does she know a majority o the 3009 voters pick her as Best Actress tt v night! 😂
