I have said it from the second I walked out of episode 8. (In theater). That was one of the worst movies I have ever seen! (Not just Star Wars movies, all movies). Star Wars died the second I saw episode 8. Only episodes 1 through 6 exist. Nothing else.

George Lucas even took inspiration from Frank Herbert’s Dune with some grey area concepts that show not everything is simple and rather it’s actually more complex. Yes it’s still good Vs evil, but the prequels also provided more depth which included the politics and the conflicting ideologies. Also, Anikan Skywalker is literally George’s version of Paul Atreides. It speaks for itself.

I never watched the show due to the fact it could ruin the canon of Star Wars and this proved that I was right. what dead is dead. no coming back from that. and it doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.

For modern writers their goal is to make good guys bad and bad guys okay and relatable.. I think it’s all part of the idea that nobody is bad.. cause then they feel bad.. making people feel responsible for their bad choices is mean.

It’s crazy how many Star Wars channels are all about this show and defending it. The writing, the acting, is so bad they must not be watching the same show. Or they don’t want to loose those Disney early access perks. Props to Reel Shift for an honest review.

G'day it's Steven from Down Under again It is a sad and dark time for Star Wars and its loyal fans, Disney has successfully achieved something unthinkable, they have murdered the greatest franchise in sci-fi history. The wrong people with little knowledge and respect for Star Wars are making dangerous decisions at Disney, hence the dreadful position of the company and its assets, this includes Star Wars of course, Marvel too, oh yeah and Doctor Who as well, I'm sure the list goes on. Please Disney, time to purge the incompetent egomaniac people with rotten personal agendas, and believe me there are plenty of those people in your ranks. I gave the first two episodes of the Woke-alite a chance, the third episode was, well, a mess, also a characters sexuality is of no interest, "who cares", and this isn't Star Wars. Also, is that a female Wookie with a shaved head?, AND is she the first ever Wookie Jedi?? Yeah so twins that aren't really twins, and witches that SOMEHOW all died in fire...couldn't their superior female witchy ability save them? ( insert sarcasm here ). Lazy film making at it's best while trying to make unnecessary changes to a much beloved universe. I'm fatigued and deeply disappointed, and the pain continues... At least I have fond memories of what my beloved Star Was before Disney turned it into a f$*#@ mess.

😔 The Jedi go from Force children headhunters/recruiters to Force children kidnappers/traffickers. 🤦 Harkening back to Rise of Skywalker, the witches transfer their Force lives to create the Sith Lord vessel that will turn out to be Tenebrous or Plagueis, and the two girls are a Force dyad that may or may not eventually feed Force life into the Sith Lord.

I have never been able to adopt the Disney canon , I’m still holding onto the old legends stories, and despite the entire legends continuity being a complete mess, I sure do feel way more connected to the projects of this era. I gotta agree that Disney trying to appeal to an audience that doesn’t actually exist has to be one of their main problems. Star Wars will never be able to return to its former glory and no half assed projects that Disney pumps out will ever come close to the stories of the legends era. Star Wars has a grim future unfortunately

I don’t have a problem with Force witch lesbians. I just don’t think it was very thought out. Like is everyone a force human? Who started all this? Is the Mother a human but goes out and converts other force lesbians into her coven? Can the force children reproduce like Anakin did with non force humans? Do they only reproduce with themselves using the force? Just so many questions.

Im ngl I still think everyone is overreacting tbh there could be reasons how they learned to have a force baby just as plaguies learned, but it does bug me too, still dont think it ruins star wars. Also I still think the show is decent so far.

Any chance of Star Wars being cool again after the awful sequel trilogy was basically in the Mandalorian and when they fired Gina I didn't really care anymore. Way more looking forward to "Children Of Dune" latter this year 2024 by a huge margin than anything star wars unless LucasFilm is sold (and not to WB).
