The sixth episode of the Acolyte is out. Wait! How many episodes of The Acolyte are there going to be? Eight? Oh for crying out loud! Honestly, I really hate it when storytelling is inefficient and dragged out. It’s why I completely stopped watching network TV shows. Who the hell wants to sit through a 24 episode season anymore? With filler episodes no less. But how could the Acolyte have been better off? Should it have been a movie? And where does the disaster go from here? Showrunner called him a sith. Actor called him a sith. Costume designer called him a sith. The character himself refers to himself as a sith. The merchandise calls him a sith. The show is named after the sith rank, acolyte… why are people still pretending he might not be a sith?

Episode 4: Mae-ho decides on a whim she's not going to kill the third jedi master (Wookie) and instead turn herself in. She thinks they shalln't imprison her if she gives up her master. Ahem, they hold her responsible for two Jedi murders (including Torben sorta)? But alas, the wookie is shown to be slain! Episode 5: Padawan Jecki finds Mae-ho and instead of Mae-ho giving herself up to this Jedi because I guess she had hear heart set on her favorite Wookie Jedi, she resists arrests (Jedis are cops now) and attempts to MURDER JECKI but fails. So she is at odds with Jedi, right? Wrong. Later in the episode her master holds her (a bad guy) hostage, causing Sol to spontaneously throw his lightsaber away. What?! So she's good now, right? No... I mean... I don't know what the hell she thinks she's doing but she impersonates her sister now, goes with Sol who for some reason had his sense-the-feelings-of-others mode off and is convinced by the ruse. Episode 6: She is about to assassinate Sol with her Scorpion spear thingies but stops for some reason. This makes no sense. Nothing about this makes sense.

@@ivansol92 What's attention span got to do with me watching a 3 hour movie that could have been done in 20 minutes? No character development or substance, no world building, op main character, no direction. A half assed battle scene, greedy villain is greedy and greed is bad. And these are only things I can think off the top of my head rn since watching it months ago. It's so bland and I'm not a minority, I'm just not part of the vocal majority who thinks because it's not woke trash that it's somehow a masterpiece. Well I won't let eating shit make Tesco value seem gourmet to me..

@@dixiewalsh9502 Only bit of world building they did that wasn't things that would have achieved the same thing in a perspective shot is the sand planet and even that revolved to, there are people here, they don't like people racking sand, and the worms don't either. Is there anything I'm missing that is actually world building in a 3 hour movie? Cus that's not a movie at that point,.
