I am a Scream fan and yet don’t like Scream “5” and “6”, I’m a Alien fan but don’t like Alien 3, Prometheus, and Covenant, and I’m a Star Wars fan but don’t like Disney’s crap! I am allowed to have my own opinions and have valid criticisms.

Disney also not only turned SW into a girls brand, but they turned it into another MCU as well. Several times. After Solo: A Star Wars Story bombed, they only transferred their plans to continue further on Disney Minus! Disney keeps wanting it to be another MCU despite the MCU now also failing. Star Wars had an expanded universe, but it wasn’t a shared universe that required normies to watch and read everything. Disney was responsible for that changing.

I’ll watch the prequels again while not perfect they are more Star Wars than this will ever be in my opinion.

Also, nobody hates 'Star Wars' more than those who can't escape it everywhere they go, but it would help if more 'Star Wars' content was good.

I just don’t like how they seem to be making the Jedi some sort of space cop for the republic. The whole point of the clone wars was that the Jedi at that time were beginning to act like soldiers in service of the republic which they aren’t. That was what Palpatine wanted! The way the Jedi act in the Acolyte the galaxy would have been hated the Jedi as a whole.

I am 100% sure at this point that Lucasfilm is washing money. The Acolyte cost more than 250 million and there is a bunch of Star Wars projects that cost a fortune and never even saw the light of day. I think they are shifting losses and money expenses on projects because it clearly doesn't show on screen.

Star Wars now lives only in physical media. Get yourself a player and six DVDs - The George Lucas films. Then ration them out. We'll need to hold out until Lucasfilm disintegrates.

I'm so disappointed and fatigued with the current situation at Disney and Lucasfilm, my Star Wars journey started when I was eight years old in 1977 here in a Sydney cinema, it's been a wonderful journey until Disney acquired Lucasfilm, it all started well with Rogue One and The Force Awakens, the latter felt like Star Wars and was at least on the right trajectory. Almost everything following that has been, well, a hot mess... Time for a major purge at Lucasfilm, people that don't perform must be FIRED, there is no room for underperforming egocentric and incompetent employees & contractors with ulterior motives, Ms Kennedy are you hearing me? My beloved Star Wars is broken, just like DC, but that's another story, reputation is important and Star Wars has been damaged by people that should never have been in control, I dare say that genuine fans and unbiased critics that appreciate Star Wars would do a superior job of producing quality content, why?, because they love and respect Star Wars and want it to flourish, entertain and succeed. Disney bought Star Wars and all they had to do was respect and continue what Mr.Lucas had in place, honour the original material...if it ain't broken don't fix it. The Force is strong with this one, No More.

From an original fan's perspective (11 in 1977), I've hated every film since Empire. When Brooks had the spaceballs to have Yogurt say "merchandising, where da real money's made" I about fainted from shock, because he was SO speaking my mind about Lucas and his absolutely disgusting emphasis on toy making instead of movie making. As a 16 yo, I would've walked out of Return... if I'd had a car of my own. I hated the Ewoks, and thought the retread of killing the Deathstar Mk II unbearably tiresome. At 16. Today, it's all water light-years under the bridge, and I certainly won't be paying Disney to watch stuff even worse.

Honestly, before the revealed the "Evil Twin", I thought it was gonna be a Clawdite, and for those who don't know that a Clawdite is, they're the "Changelings"; Zam Wesell's species in Attack of the Clones . . . Edit: But of course not, because Clawdites are something actual Star Wars fans would remember, and LucasFilm are run by none . . . And they priest about women, yet never held of Zam Wesell enough to know about her species . . .

The show is awesome, it pushes all the good Star Wars buttons for me like Andor did, can't wait to watch the next episodes.

Bro, I am not even a Star Wars fan, but I do appreciate the franchise and what it did for cinema, but the Acolyte looks like a low budget sci-fi channel 90's wannabe sci-fi show. It is not only horrible, but it is super boring, predictable, and it's really hard to get through. Also, it is unbelievable how some film reviewers are trying to stick up for this show by saying it has potential, but if you dropped the Star Wars name all together they would either trash it, or never give it the time of day.

I just wanted more Carrie Anne Moss. And it’s cool to see the little girl from the Hunger Games. Personally I would have liked a split personality aspect over twins but if I’m being honest I would have loved not knowing who the assassin is and in stead we get a real mystery/ who done it where the investigator slowly pulls it together and tries to bring some Jedi atrocity to light but is maybe himself killed in order to “protect” the Jedi image…hell I just want more Andor.

Watching the 1st scene I knew the show had already failed. The 1st scene should have established that this assassin was a dangerous menace to the Jedi by eliminating a Legendary figure in such a convincing manner dominant manner. Not only was the assassin lacking in threat, vut the jedi master seemed to lose out on circumstances and poor decision making on her part. The dialogue was neh at best and truthfully whoncould be invested in either one of these characters. They both ended up flat. What happened with the communication between Jedi Master and ???. The only thing I was convinced was the assassin was lucky poorly trained and weak. The Jedi was even worse abd died from her own decisions and lack of wisdom to take the assassin seriously. I'm not expecting much better from this series if this is the best they have to offer. Let's not talk about episode two and the 2nd Jedi master being guilted into committing suicide after a 10 year meditation hiatus 😱 SMH

So I'll say this... of all franchises, Star Wars is the one that i will most often give a "pass" to because I love it so much. And I watched the first two episodes... and i thought that was pretty good. Somewhere in the realm of OK. But then i rewatched it, and I just... I can see where this is going and its gonna faulter even worse. To be clear, I dont actually care if characters are gay or not in a show, as long as they are interesting and complex chracters... but i can already tell that the women character are gonna be cut from the "brave and strong" cut and paste, while most of the men around them are aloof and useless, and Yord is a Prime Example. I really like Master Sol's character, but i have a feeling this is gonna be a 6 our of ten at best.

Honestly I stopped watching Star Wars after the first season of the Mandolorian. I don't know why but I have a dissonance with The Acolyte. I am watching it due to curiosity and I guess only curiosity is keeping me here. I don't think it's good or bad. It is just goop.

There hasn't been anything "top star wars" since III/Revenge of The Sith was released. Force Awakens was J.J.Abrams ok at best remake, Rogue One could've been better but it was the best of the deadknees films. The shows all fail just as bad as the MCU ones and yeah most of them do seem to be a parody. I think that A.I. computer had them recycle "Descendants: Future" with that Boba Fett show. Other than watching a video focusing on the only reason people seem to like "Andor.", it's basically architecture related not about the show lol. Forget sand, I don't like trees or flowers. I have bad allergies. Way better and natural convo than anything "modern star wars."
