Gigaton Hammer's animation completely flattens the enemy model, so seeing the move used on the Team Star Revavroom, only makes me think of the fact that Tinkaton just went ahead and smashed a whole ass truck + a child on top
In Violet Wo-Chiens dex entry says that it drains plants of life and leaves areas lush with vegetation barren. Now take into consideration that Paldea has a desert to the west and a big wasteland canyon to the east
The wasteland/canyon seems a bit more man made to me. Like industrial scale mining took place especially with the shapes of some of the holes. However the desert could be plausible.
It baffles me how the Champion's ace is Glimmora, which is obviously designed to function as a hazard setter first and foremost, but she only uses it as her last Pokemon.
She also has a kingsgambit with Supreme Overlord but sends it in second instead of waiting after 4 or 5 pokemon faint. She truly seems like she's terrible at battling.

@@matthewdavies2892 Nah I consider Kalos's Diantha worse just on the fact that she also has 0 presence on top of most of her team being weak to the same thing as well.

I'll be honest it wouldn't even have taken that. If I see a fortress I'm gonna explore it and if the people in there are pricks, I'll burn it to the ground, my levels of both curiosity and spite are off the charts.
I really like how Eri feels like the big sister of Team Star. Of everyone, she's the more emotionally and physically supportive, not just to her friends and teammates, but also to your character, even though she lost the fight against you.
I think the idea behind the typings of the E4 and Champion matching the 5 Titans of the region was pretty cool. But once you find that out it makes the E4 after you find it out. Also, Skeledirge + Torch Song WRECKS the Champion/Glamorra since most of her Pokemon are weak to fire. She was too easy. Edit: I love having Nemona as a rival in this game. I just love having someone who is a battle junkie but also a good sport when she loses. It is an incredibly healthy rivalry between our characters and her. Though, she is too easy in how she chooses the starter with type weakness to ours. But still, she just gives off good vibes.
Geeta's fight and team composition was so greatly underused, place Glimmora at the start and Kingambit at last, and we probably could've gotten a tough and memorable champion battle
Its so cathartic hearing Cotton point out how annoying Tinkaton's hammer is. It was my ace in my run so all I saw in every battle was just a giant hammer entirely covering the screen.
Had the same problem too. Half a team that’s weak to fighting and then the other half to ground from the car’s horsepower. Took me a few hours with the rules emplaced on myself.
No they know. It’s just called comedy my friend. And even if she is holding back, she still got her ass beat every single time so it doesn’t really make sense to be surprised when they whack you for the 50th time in a row.
@@scarsch1286 that first point is just fair and I can't argue with that one. As for the second point though the reason nenonas suprised is because no one's ever beaten her at her best before. Heck even Geeta mentions after you beat her that even in nemonas champion assessment test benina didn't totally give it her all gain against Geeta cause she didn't need too.
Not gonna lie I wasn't expecting Penny 🤣 when I saw who it was I was like "YOUUUUUU!!!" Then I got excited because I made a team of a bunch of eeveelutions named after all my dogs.
About the team star bases 5 kids picked out areas for their base, gathered a bunch of children to follow them, built them until they're extremely defensible, and they all have free healthcare there!
What's even more hilarious is that all three of its evos are references to a different godzilla. Frigibax is Minillla, the baby godzilla that shows up throughout a lot of the Showa and Heisei eras, Arctibax is Zilla from the '98 American movie, and Baxcalibur is just classic Godzilla.
Team rocket and team galactic were the only actual villains at this point. Magma and aqua we’re just environmental extremist. Sword/shield crazy Fan club. Sun/moon hmm I don’t remember much but I’ll say evil just not full evil. Then these in this gen are like a renegade resistance group XD
Game Freak: "Geeta's team includes both Glimmora and Kingambit." Me: Oh man, that's actually really smart - she'll probably lead with Glimmora in order to setup hazards, and Kingambit will be her ace (makes sense, being the "Top Champion") for maximum gains from Supreme Overlord, right? Game Freak: "Actually Glimmora is her ace she is guaranteed to send out dead last, while she can send out Kingambit any time including second, *despite* it having Supreme Overlord." I was and still am fucking fuming at the missed opportunity here. Geeta's team actually has an obvious, valid strategy (the Gogoat is kind of a weird pick tho), and that strategy is being completely ignored.
I think they only chose glimmora as her ace to have all the types be featured in tera trainer battles throughout the story. 8 gyms, 5 team star bases, elite 4 and champ, all with different tera types, to make for all 18 types.

The fighting star boss was my favorite of the star bosses. Mostly because I respected how much she cared for her underlings. It was unfortunate that my lvl 73 Gardevoir absolutely railroaded her entire team.
i defeated the League and won the last battle with Nemona! granted, i gave my mons Vitamins and Feathers, and a $#1t-tonne of Exp. Candies until they were level 70 at the very least; but never underestimate your opponent. even with the buffs from Vitamins and Feathers and the level jump, i was scared. didn't matter if i one-shot most of the pokemon form the Elite Four, Champion and Nemona; i was internally nervous. now for the final chapter. wish me luck.
You got scared fighting the Elite Four... ehile you're Pokemon were in the 70s? I've seen people win with either the same levels or lower and that's due to type coverage. If anything: you were overly prepared.
I do see Geeta as the worst champion fight. her team is lack luster bar the kingambit i mean gogoat and avalugg feel poor choices. and her ace is a Glimora. Feel if she lead with Glimora because of toxic debris. you'd likely be dealing with being poison/toxic poisoned through out the fight then having Kingambit as her ace so it would always get full Supreme overlord buffed(extra attack and Sp.Attack for each fallen ally). still likely be easily doable but at least we'd be oh fuck im posioned and her ace is super charged. also why was she presented as Top Champion Geeta when La Primera Geeta was right there
so a thing that's good to note if you are wondering about if your pokemon are faster or not; if you and your opponent are both Terastallizing then the faster pokemon will be the one shown to Terastallize first for example in the battle against you and Nemona because her Meowscarada Terastallized first that meant she was faster
Even if it’s only for the cutscenes like Monster Hunter, Pokémon would massively benefit from voice acting now that the technology has reached this stage
I lost twice in this game. Both to team star, both because I wasn’t prepared. Once to fire once to fighting, and given my starter was Grass Dark I guess that makes sense.
Cotton and Josh voice acting the scenes really does hammer home how much voice acting would have greatly enhanced this game, especially the Larry scene :/

Geeta has a Pokémon that, if hit with a physical move, sets up toxic spikes and a Pokémon that gets stronger for each one of its teammates that has been defeated and yet she sends out the latter second and the former last as her ace. Gamefreak why do you insist on making the elite four and champions so bad 😂 especially after bdsp where they gave them helpful natures, near maxed stats, helpful competitive items and good AI and strategies like trick room and then for Cynthia made her team a flat out perfectly maxed competitive team in the BASE fights.
WHAT IS THAT CHAMPION TEAM I can see how Leon was the undefeated champion of the world with a champion like Geeta. Holy heckers she has an awful team that I hope they update in a patch. Heck I hope they update the entire elite 4 to at least have 5 pokemon and better teams. This is rediculous. There is a reason Cynthia is a memorable champion, heck Leon might even be memorable now since he actually had a relatively difficult team to go through. Cannot believe they actually made a worse champion than Diantha.
Tbh Larry was hard a normal gym leader and I put him as my most struggle to beat in the quiz so when I first saw him the in the four I screamed and wanted to just run away lol
also geta realy Is the worse champion not because she's easy, all champions are easy but because unlike every other champion her team could actualy be a problem if she re ordered her pokemon, had she put glimora first and kingambit last it would have actualy been challenging, glimora is a violent hazard setter most in-game teams will struggle with and kingambit gets stronger the less pokemon left
I really wish you guys had done the classes, it makes the encounters with Hassel more meaningful. Same with when you met Dendra. You guys are missing out on so much by not doing classes.
How are the Star bosses going to work in the anime? Are the cars going to try to hit-and-run Ash? Yeah, Geeta dethroned Diantha as easiest champion ever. I went in blind, and only got hit once during the entire fight.

How do Tinkaton hunt Corviknight! Corviknight is a physically defensive, steel type bird. It’s resistant to both fairy and steel along with being immune to ground due to being a flying type. If anything, they should both be bad against each other.
