I like how Nick prefaces his opinion on a sponsor with: “well, they told me explicitly not to say this, but…”

I play Russian roulette everytime Nick references working for a call center. Can’t believe I’m still here.

This was a great episode. I like the idea of them doing something more conversational and less performative with the audio format. I wouldn’t be opposed to them filming something every week or so and having that be the “show” part of The Adam Friedland Show, because those segments are a lot of fun. That way they could do something more creative, but still have a podcast that doesn’t feel so disjointed.

I’ve never heard RU-vid be labeled as social media, but Nick just totally shuts him down so matter of fact. There’s certainly quite the difference between the utility of RU-vid and the big four classic brain dead social media apps. Everyone uses RU-vid, even if it’s just here and there. Not everyone uses, ever touches, or ever has the need to interface with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or TikTok.

Honestly this ep is what I mostly want, Nick shooting the shit with someone to bounce ideas off like stav but without the cackle, and who isn't a whinney punching bag like Adam.
