I smell a new character to get their own color story... MERCH: ► www.designbyhu... Links: ► / necrit94 ► / necrit94 ► / necrit94 ► / discord ► / necrit94
maybe it was actually pantheon mistaking him for a mountain jumping on him then running around and around really fast, like what pantheon says in his dialogues which explains why malp says it tickles
If they ever put Chip in a canon story, I don't know why but I imagine him either watching Leona and Diana fight, or just turn up in Bilgewater like we're allowed to do now... Freaking Braum ._.
I thought that since in Runeterra constellations are literal beings and stellacorns are literal stars, when Malphine mentions that "his back tingles" when the sky waves and that he was hit by a star once, it is meant to be taken literally. Malphite is literally so humongous that he can feel the auroras in his back and a stellacorn hit him once.
Malphite say things with literal meaning. Like "I'm strong as a mountain because I am a mountain" no deeper meaning into it really so i think necret theory is an exaggeration.
@@RedstonerCraftMC Yeah, I definitely think Necrit looked a bit too deeply into those quotes. The "he got hit by meteors" story does provide some explanation to how chip was made. Kind of like how the moon was likely created because a giant meteor hit early Earth.
My thinking is that he may be the progenitor of the Targon Giants when he got hit by star, it makes sense cause all the Targon Giants seem to be intricately carved, almost as if they were part of a preexisting structure which Malphite is from. I also do not think that Targon could make things sentient by itself cause that would be a pain for construction and architecture if your house decided to just move away.
I’m pretty sure the star cards are just meteorites hitting his back. To us puny humans those meteors are dangerous, but to him they’re probably just mosquito bites.
The game isn't a good representation of what a champ can and can't do in lore. Ekko doesn't regain health whenever he turns back time, for example. Zac doesn't grow in size either in lore like he does in the game.
I personally think the Chip adventures occur after Tyari's ascension, when Emir and Haley were separated from Tyari. That explains why Tyari is not present and also why these cards occur relatively far from the actual mountain.
2:00 i think they are just jokes of how big malphite is, he is so big he got hit by a star and he is so big that when there is an aureola borealis it just feels like tingles in his back
I love how Malphite is a really chill and loving father in his voicelines with Chip Here's two for example below Chip: Snow on my feet, wain on my head! Malphite: Aaach. I hope you never change. Chip: Wock solid! Malphite: Like mountain, like hill.
Necrit you make me so happy every time you tell me a story I feel so engaged and feel like someone who cares is reading these stories to me Thank you for the countless hours of amazing stories I can always go back to and enjoy
If I had to guess, and I could see them doing a re-work to explain it this way: Malphite IS a targonian giant. He was used, either intentionally or not, to create the rocky bottom of the floating temple, due to their inherent magical nature. His increase in size is due to him re-collecting the pieces of himself that were blown off of him during the fight.
I would relate the quote about stars to the fact that at least a part of Malphite's power/consciousness from the Void, and void was attacked by celestials, and might have a bit of PTSD.
Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate everything you do for the lore community. And as someone who likes LoR more than league I really love love love the card reveal vids you make. Even though I get that it is a smaller audience, so less interesting for you to make a living off, I still hope you keep making them .
Im pretty sure Malphite getting bigger is cannon. He started as a piece of the floating city, fell off, then grew in size over time to his current state
Malphite is alive because of the power of an ascended. The ascended magic is basically a modified version of Targon's magic. Targon's magic created Targon's giants. So basically, Malphite is a Targonian giant, he was just born somewhere else.
Just a thought for that "tingling back" interaction Iirc Auroroas IRL are magnetic-related phenomena that occurs on the Pole Areas. I know it's kinda ridiculous to be scientific in a fictional universe but yeah, prolly what causes Malph's back tingles.
I think its like dandelions gaining the power to push themselves through roads and sidewalks. The power to fight against something thought to be stronger than oneself. 4:40
“Even though the videos where I cover the cards from LoR are less popular,...” but that’s the reason I follow this channel :’( please don’t stop making these videos! 🙈
Just to say this, but I think the line about his back tingling is just the plants on his back reacting to the day/night cycle, although I don't know why they would move from it, just how I interpreted it tho
So on the last part, where you mention the theory of the same primeval power that created the first celestials also creating the animals and other creatures of Runeterra, it reminded me of a line Pantheon says. I don't remember exactly how it goes but it's kinda like: "The power of the Celestials is just an echo of ours" or something along those lines. Well, I've been playing wild rift and he says that line there...
Honestly, I just think malphite is so huge that he can actually feel gravity from celestial objects. I can't feel the moon's gravity, but it is here as shown by the ocean tides... i don't think that's too much of a stretch to think a massive sentient mountain would be able to feel gravity from space as well
Also, maybe malphite is a targon giant because he lives there regardless of where he came from. If a mountain can walk, why wouldn`t it be able to immigrate? Especially to a place with other living rocks like him?
