I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not, but the parachutes are in the game to save you from falling out of the Aether dimension. That way, you can safely float back down to the overworld. If it wasn't for the parachute, you would just plummet into the overworld and die from fall damage.

I don't know why mojang hasnt made this yet. It would be so fulfilling. ever since my first attempt when my age was single digits.

Regarding the lag and freezes during the generation of new chunks. U can either allocate minecraft more RAM or download performance enhancing mods like optifine, betterFPS, etc. It works for me. there is another version of the aether mod but without the valkyrie or the other dungeon but the slider dungeon is enhanced really good. in the slider dungeon there are these stones that you need to activate to enter the slider dungeon and the dungeon is guarded by 3 mini bosses that needs to be defeated in order to open the door to the slider boss. also there`s these bird that you can ride to traverse the aether dimension easily.

6:12 Gravitite items are stronger/better than zanite, not the other way around. 9:14 Strength effect above 127 for some reason works like strength 1.

The aether demension was in real minecraft with no mods,notch first working on the aether demension and, you can get into the demension by sleeping in the over world when notch stoped working on it he abandoned the aether demension

Zanite has always been weaker than Gravitite because you can't mine Gravitite without a Zanite pickaxe

The reason that the Zanite stuff is bad is because it gets exponentially better when its durability goes down.

A lot of people without mods that do this: *Try's to do to it but did not work* Actually, You need a forge then download it, then you can make a file named "mods" (don't use a capital letter and remove- ") Then install Aether mod then put it into a file named "mods", then now there, run Minecraft, then place glow-stone portal, then now put water into it then there.

I don't understand why the developers never even considered making the aether a legitimate part of the game? maybe because it's too much reminiscent of terraria? But it's not like that haven't already broken that wall with the nether update and the upcoming cliffs and caves update.

God i remember when i was a kid and thought the Aether was some kind of new update thing because the video i had seen said so and i was a dumb gullible kid. Needless to say i was very disappointed at the time and now i feel ancient.
