I like how the Chi-Ha and Chi-Ha Kia, the two most iconic Japaneese ww2 tanks are relegated to premium and event vehicles, but the Ho-I, of which only 31 were built (there were more Type 1 and Type 2 medium tanks) and all were with held for the defence of the main land, is a Campign tank.
That's exactly the point You want the cool popular stuff you pay for it, otherwise you get experimental/low production vehicles Arguably the experimental stuff could be cooler than the popular stuff but the point stands

I got so excited when the new update came and I saw "paratroopers" and I instantly got excited because i was so pumped to jump out of an airplane as a paratrooper squad. So I played in a mission and clicked my paratrooper squad thinking they were going to jump from an airplane now but was thoroughly disappointed
It’s the paratrooper CLASS soldier squad. This is obvious because I mean like don’t you think the screaming Eagles the 101st on Normandy D-Day map they would’ve been jumping out too? Nope. They’re assaulter class.

I was way too excited for this when I first noticed the new AA guns, I had to spend at least 5 minutes out of my games to admire each new model lol, I think they look great tho.
Hey check this out... For 29.99 you can buy Post Scriptum, and play with paradrops, iconic weapons like the M1 Garand, Carbine, STG44, G41/43, Thompson, M1919, MG42/34... All unlocked by default. All armor is also unlocked by default, with King Tigers, Sherman Fireflies, etc. And you don't have to grind to unlock any of it! Crazy.
Nah it's just a worse version of hell let loose, with premium squads and tanks that you can't get with out paying real money for, that shit on the regular units. Also if you want to even unlock anything at a decent speed you have to pay for a premium account. Other wise you will be stuck with 1932 era weapons while everyone else is running around with 1940s...
Yesterday a fallschirmjäger Squad landed on a Fields right next to me while i was in a jumbo. I nailed every last one of them with My .50cal. afterwards I thought about how that Guy paid 60$ just to Be placed in a middle of a Field on front of My armour
well me and my buddy both have airborne squads, we dropped them behind enemy lines during invasion game mode and nailed 6 tanks and around 24+ KIAs before they got us all
The battlepass or whatever you want to call it the challenge list, is extremely easy. So getting the free paratrooper should be a breeze for most people
its the preorder that costs 60$ genius. Paratroopers will eventually come as a class (for every campaign i guess) to the game thats available for everyone for free.

Gaijin is literallya brother of EA, always when theres something new or slightly better (0.05% less spread while firing, just example) its instantly made for buy or grind your ass off on glitched matches, only good thing I see in paratroopers now is that they are literally infantry that can just drop from the sky and select one special weapon
I don’t mind grinding for a new squad, gun or vehicle but when they just put stuff behind a paywall, it just demotivates us from playing the game. It’s not pay to win but it is pay to ‘enjoy’.
yeah and the premium account is very very cheap u basically pay few euros for whole month premium which spice and speed things up tremendously. I ve been playing this game for past 3 weeks and already got 28th level at normandy as Germans
@@Turbulencje also the battle pass is really fair, if you are clever, you only pay 10€ once for 1000 gold, the battle pass costs 900. And by playing through the battle pass you get gold back. at the end, if you finished all levels, you get not 900, but 1000 gold back, 100 more than you paid, so finishing the pass will even give you a small profit and then the next season you can spend the money you regained on the next battle pass, so you only have to pay once for it.

I was expecting more like the Ki-57 / Ki-56 for japan, but whatever $60 for a squad, you boys are out of your minds, you have at least 1 good and complete game for that price
As much as I don’t like admitting this but I plaid for that bundle cuz I got a bunch of money to spare, and the paratroopers are pretty good, especially the crate that you get with them let’s you get an engineer who can build rally points around specific flanks and it’s pretty neat, but I wish it wasn’t so damn expensive
Same my man I do rhe same thing. Working 3 days of overtime I got plenty of money but not time makes these little purchases every now and again worth it

an fyi, the bundle you fork over 60$ for is only for Normandy while the event paratrooper squads are for Pacific only. Also 60$ bundle where you get a name deco, premium paratroopers for Normandy Allies and Axis, not sure its expensive or worth it, am leaning more to DAMN expensive.

The predatory dlc and micro-transaction system that plagued War Thunder has become even worse with Enlisted and was one of the main reasons I stopped playing much after the Stalingrad DLC the grind and the greed turned me away
I also stopped because i could barely compete in any of the campaigns since literally everyone else had gold order troops and automatic weapons meanwhile im still stuck with tier 1 troops and bolt actions
I would be mad at this update, but my gf bought me the squad so Im very happy, the squad is very cool ngl, after playing the paratrooper squad, any other squad just feels... meh

paradroping one small squad in the middle of the battle on relatively small maps looks extremely dumb for a game which tries to be "historical". at best they shouldve used those mechanics as intro/first stage for some of the battles where paratroopers were heavily involved, like crete '41
