Flipping channels 14 years ago and landed on Dave introducing a band named The Airborne Toxic Event who I never heard of. The song and the performance gave me crazy chills. Fast forward 4 months and my wife and I fly to London from North Carolina to see them perform at KOKO. At least 15 times after that in 7 different states. I’m in awe of this band and the music they make.

I like how the song has "feelings". The beats and tempo get faster and angrier as the story progresses. It fits in perfectly with the story. You don't see that often, very well done!!

Poets and artists struggle to capture the wrenching, can't catch your breath, there's no tomorrow pain of being left behind. Mikel Jollett and this masterpiece captures that feeling as well as anyone or anything I've come across in a very long time. A classic.

I lived in Hell's Kitchen for 11 months and Letterman was half way between the library and my place. One day one of the security guys at the Ed Sullivan Theater stopped me and said that these guys sounded great great in rehearsal and I was up on the top row balcony for this!
