Hi Simon Sounds like you're having some good shooting. Have come across a few black squirrels in Essex but haven't shot any. Also saw a black rabbit on one of my shoots last week. It was very wild and ran into the hedge long before I got near it, so I'd say it was definitely born in the wild. All the best Mat

That's really interesting, I've not seen any blacks but have seen a couple of red squirrels over the years but sadly no more and a few locals around the village reported seeing a black rabbit quite often but it seems the fox might have had it now as its no where to be seen, we think it was a pet that someone couldn't look after and released here. I think I will always like shooting with airguns, theres a connection with your quarry you miss with 22lr or shotguns, it's almost like you have to outwit your prey which I suppose is a very base instinct on a primeval layer.

Squares are not for eating mate. Unless they are rice crispy squares.

its the greys over here that do it not the reds which are twindling due to a pox virus the grey carries, theres video on youtube taken of a grey eating another grey, so deffo not veggies lol

Word from Gamo is that the Phox is only available as a kit, and not gun-only, at present.
