Some cut dialogue from Thops said that the Albinaurics harbored a grudge against humans (and also possessed some kind of arcane secret). Thops was pretty racist against them in his cut dialogue. It could have been cut to make Thops more consistent as a jolly, likeable character, or maybe there was an original intention to make the frog albinaurics more sinister.
@@SilverlandgmodTVinterestingly the albinauric frog head item’s description mentions that bit (the albinarics have an innate arcaness) so they definitely still do have some secret we are unaware of
IIRC, the frog-like albinaurics seem to be based off of a homonculus design in a magic the gathering card or some other trading card game. So maybe the more human looking ones were the afterthought!
Second generation is my little cousin when he ask me if he can watch youtube in my mobile phone (hes gonna search r34 videos of TV Woman Skibidi Toilet)
America passed the act which made slave trading illegal before Britain, so by your logic, British people are more pro slavery in history than America ever was.
Male Albinaurics of the First Generation: Gangly Monstrocity with leg defect Female Albinaurics of the First Generation: mostly regular looking woman with Leg defect Albinauric of Third Generation: Frog Boy say could it be they rewrote the Albinaurics at some point? Because this assemble of characters all under the same name looks beyond nutty
I think those male first gen ones look like this because Albinaurics are said to age really badly, outside of loosing their legs they to wither away in a much more grotesque manner, and the male ones we find all seem old. For the frog boys, I like to think that they kind of begin to feel really conflicted with the shit they put Albinaurics through since they looked so human so they literally made them look more monstrous to dehumanize them
They definitely reworked everything to do with the Silver Bloods. There used to be a whole quest behind the Mimic Tear, and the Silver Tears, Albinaurics, and Mimic Tears are all the ER version of Homunculi. I would think that originally they were going to be more fleshed out characters and more important to the cosmology of Elden ring. At some point they decided not to go with this, and seem to have greatly reduced their significance.
Despite being sorted under the generation label, they are not related apart from the fact that they are all homonculi - meaning artificially created by someone or some organisation. There's no blood relationship between 1st gen and 2nd gen.
It's been 15 years since DemS and 13 since DS. Two years since ER. Still, I can't comprehend the amount of menacholy and weird tranquility those stories invoke inside of me.
On the first generation males, their legs are literally fading away. Albus says it's the fate of all of them for their legs to decay, but I didn't think he meant literally... Also, can't help but feel sorry for these guys. They didn't ask to be created in the first place, and now have to put up with being looked down on, hunted down, and slaughtered just for being different. The Golden Order doesn't mess around.
"Okay, so our first gen Albinaurics have been a success. Mages like the wise, old man aesthetic." "Indeed, good spellcasting test dummies." "Our young ladies are also a wild hit; sold out in three weeks! Even that giant one we made as a joke!" "Lots of lonely guys out there, I hear Godrick himself bought three." "Now that we've got a more stable formula to avoid the leg thing, what shape shall we make?" "Frogs." "...What?" "Frogs. With beer bellies. And a hunched back." "I don't know if you're trying to insult me or what, but I'm going to do just that so you see how dumb of an idea it is." And that, my Tarnished brethren, is how the Lands Between became infested with Frogmen.
People have brought up the red Albinaurics of Mohgwyn Palace being absent here, but not many people realize that the Albinaurics in Consecrated Snowfield that cast Miquellan haloes are also subtly distinguished-they all have pure gold eyes instead of black. This seems to indicate their allegience to Miquella.
Find the albinauric women. She hides in a cave to the west of the Laskyar ruins which jut from the mist shrouded lake of Liurnia. She knows the location of the medallion's counterpart, I am sure.
I wonder if the anatomy of the second generation is from them losing their elasticity of sorts. Like the material is losing its ability to retain shape. They have this rotund and fat appearance, it almost looks like they’re “leaking” into a soft form. Not too unlike the blobs of silver we encounter in Nocturne.
Little fun fact, if you talk to the old albinauric hidden away in the pot with the albinauric mask on, you’ll get a secret interaction where he believes you to be kin and charges you with saving his/your people with the secret medallion.
I would like to know how you do it. I just tried it, but the button to talk to NPCs hiding in the jar did not appear. And after finding them, the conversation is the same as usual.
Thops - "Albinaurics are the accursed souls born from a forbidden rite of the Eternal City. They were cursed so that the olds' legs would wither and the Frogs' tongues would silence." Of course tho, this is cut dialogue but it explains where they come from, since theres no other mention in the game at the moment
Nope it's a mystery, though some speculate that the Nox created them, since they created the silver tears who share the whole silver blood and dragonkin soldiers, so they have a track record of making artificial lifeforms.
nothing concrete but my theory is they were a slave race created by the carian and golden order using the silver blood of the mimics of nox both working together in the first generation but carian making the second alone the first generation was made with purposeful faults to remain subservient while the second is more able as a result of the carian's hands being forced by the cuckoo and the shattering the blood ones are many of the now free post shattering albunarics seeking purpose and leadership from another spurned turned lord mogh i also think the bubble envoy's are linked to them but havent much proof beyond general feel
"Yo, I got the best idea to improve upon the Albinauric's next generation!" "Oh! did you figure out how to fix their defects"! "Fix what! Nah man who cares! But you've seen a frog before... Right?"
they're descendants of the eternal city's black moon mimic tear rituals which resulted in the numen, rennala was making the albinaurics in the moon gazing pool with the pale moon, which she learned from Renna / Dusk Eyed Queen / Blue Fairy. gg ez
It sounds pervy but i would love to see her, um..."De-Armoured" just to see what she actually IS under it. IS she an albinauric? and that is why she is always on her horse? Is she something else? maybe a princess of the Carian Family? She gets a lot of flashy stuff for "just another carian knight" none of the others use it, or none i have encountered. Is she just some random normal person? SHOW US!
My guess is by trying to correct their leg paralysis they gave them entire new bone and muscle structure which resulted in over the top stretch capabilities For this they lost some intelligence(no mages and archers, some use primitive weapons) and speech functions. They also appear to be genderless or they must change their sex from female to male And vice versa (like some frogs do) There are no gen 3 because Albinaurics must have been considered a failed project in the end(or there was no time for more experiments) I always thought gen 2 came first, that they evolved from young frogs to gen 1 but it seems i was wrong and they are separate "forced" evolution
I never understood, are second generation Albinaurics directly descended from the first generation ones? Does a first generation Albinauric woman give birth to a second generation frog man? Or are the frogs more like the second batch created?
According to fextralife, two of them spawn on the bank of that poison lake below village of the albinaurics. I haven't seen them either, though. And I was just there on one of my runs.
They spawn in the poison swamp near the albinauric village. Because of them, I have the theory that the village used to cover most of that poison swamp, before Gideon nuked it with the help of depraved perfurmers. Maybe they used those giant perfume projectiles that were shown in the story trailer.
Elden Ring dating sim: Latenna, formerly an Olympic archery hopeful, but after a genetic condition left her without the use of her legs she temporarily quit. However, through determination and her trusty service wolf, Lobo, she is now very likely to compete in Paralympic wheelchair archery. That’s my head canon anyways.
I don't think it's evolution, since albanaurics are artificial and can't reproduce untill you give a specific individual an item that allows them to. The second generation are more of an imoroved formula rather than evolution
