How does it compare (in terms of handling) with a well crafted wooden handled shaving brush? Wow, £48.00! - that's alot for a shaving brush! I think it's going to stay on my wish list for the foreseeable future! have to admit it does look great......but have you 'road tested' yet as it were?
Looks like a fine brush - nice handle. Could have made the bottom part of the carrying case longer then than the brush and click in the handle. Now you can use it as a travel stand, and the hair wouldn’t catch.
Nice that synthetic brushes actually can outperform badger brushes. Didnt belive it untill i tried a well made synthetic myself. The badger buisness is so cruel these days. Used to be hair from wild badgers . Now its mostly from chinese captive badgers who spend their whole lives in cages. Lowers the quality of the hairs to. Synthetic is the future of shaving brushes. Maybe there is even room for further inprovement. I imagine science is still in its infancy when it comes to synthetic shave brushes.
Modern synthetic brushes are soft, have backbone and lather up quite nicely. But even these G4 synthetic knots feel like a plastic suction cup rubbing on your face when splayed and that's because the fibre itself absorbs no moisture. Badger knots do not give that feeling, they just feel like a ball of lather gliding on your skin. So I would definatley not say that synthetics OUTPERFORM badger brushes, I could however attest to them being a respectable alternative.
@@PatatoKeftes The feeling of my tro ol badger brushes is better but my synthetic makes better latter. And those two badgers brushes are really good old ones from hunted wild badgers. Not the chinese lousy brushes from badgers suffering in captivity. Ethics aside, if you hold an Animal captured so it cant move as much as it should and give it cheap crap food that is very diffrent from what they eat in the wild, the fur Will be very low quality. So ill keep using synthetics. Use my old wild badgers ocasionally just because i like the feeling.
@@PatatoKeftes I recommend anyone who wants a badger brush to get än old used one from wild badgers. Even if its well worn it Will outperform newer badger brushes. from captive badgers.

@@ExecutiveShaving I’ve set a reminder to let me know when it’s back in stock. Will try it out. Was badly advised by a US seller using the old lie that Badger hair just a byproduct of meat industry. Ugh.
@@byrnedes Hi Des, here are the aluminium versions: www.executive-shaving.co.uk/search/wee+man The 3D one will not be made again, too expensive to manufacture. Brian.

Executive Shaving I would like to have a brush similar to fine stout with angel fibers...wonder which one you have that’s similar and short handle.... Alan
@@ExecutiveShaving I wanted one as a graduation present to myself next year since I am a mechanical engineer major and appreciate the manufacturing process, especially 3D printed. I wanted to get a 3D printed handle with a generation 4 knot and a black Rockwell 6s (my first stainless steel razor). Sucks that I won't be getting a brush but it makes sense since 3D printing can be tricky with the material you use and the time dedicate for quality control and inspection.
I am bit late getting to this one but as with all of your merchandise; I am very pleased by its description and construction. One point of order to bring to your attention. Near the very end when you introduced the carry case, you said: "screw up"...You do realize what that means in colloquial American English? No,, Ha ha.... No worries, it's not vulgar and everybody screw ups now and again.... :D I thought I'd drop that bit of humor in the zombie apocalypse infected world we live in at the moment. ;-)
