Most people say that the gospel is the death burial, and resurrection of the son of God, but I believe the gospel is the “birth”, “death” and “resurrection” of “God Almighty himself”, who gave himself for us. See Titus 2:13-14 which says, “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of “our great God and Savior Jesus Christ”, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Titus.2.13,Titus.2.14&version=NKJV God had a “scheme”, and the scheme was the “birth”, “death” and “resurrection” of “God Almighty himself” 1 Timothy 3:16 KJVS [16] “And without controversy great is the mystery of “godliness”: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” The Greek word “godliness” G2150 means “Gospel Scheme” therefore the “gospel scheme” is a great mystery, and that mystery is that God was manifested in the flesh and preached to the gentiles, 1 Timothy 3:16. God also preached the gospel unto Abraham. Galatians 3:8 KJV says, [8] “And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, “preached before the gospel unto Abraham”, saying, in thee shall all nations be blessed.” One might say that God Almighty cannot die, I would say that is limiting God Almighty, see Revelation 1:8-18 which says, Revelation 1:8 KJVS [8] “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the “Almighty.” Revelation 1:18 KJVS [18] “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” And Revelation 2:8 which says, Revelation 2:8 KJVS [8] “And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the “first and the last”, “which was dead”, and is alive;” we see from these verses that got Almighty had to power to die and rise again. God Almighty had a way of dying for our sins and he done it through being born or made flesh (see Isaiah 9:6 and John 1:1-14) so he could feel pain and suffering and die for our sins, because God is a Spirit and can not die or feel pain. Isaiah 9:6 says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” And John 1:14 says, “And the “Word was made flesh”, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. If we do not believe that, God Almighty was made flesh and died for our sins, we do not believe the Bible. We must believe that the son of God is actually God Almighty himself, and is come in the flesh, or we will die in our sins. John 8:24 KJV says, [24] “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that “I am he”, ye shall die in your sins.” Compare John 8:24 with Isaiah, 43:10-11 which says that LORD is the I AM He. “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that “I am he”: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. (11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.” The Greek word “am” in John 8:24 is the same name for God given to Moses in Exodus 3:14.
