Having seen amity 3 times live i would guess that most of the high screams are ahren, because he does those live really often.

Ahren is what drew me to this band initially but Joels screams are always amazing

@@Xylaax yes!! When I first started listening to them, Ahren drew me in too. But their band in general is outstanding. They all really pull together and give us these amazing songs!

Pretty sure bands aren't interested in releasing full albums anymore. They can't get the streaming numbers up on songs 7,8 9 etc. It's more beneficial for them to release singles as they tend to stream better.

@@xProjectKaos yeah. It's the three that's been released over the last few months. I still think they're gonna drop a full album at some point, but maybe this is just an in between type of thing? Idk. Lol

Same. Ryan used more double kick which just made the songs satisfying.

Ryan drumming was just perfection. No faults just pure smooth flow no matter how off beat it sounded it complemented the guitar riffs. Its hard to find a drummer like ryan. But all there recent music feels like its just missing that little something for me to enjoy, i didn't like the last album expect for soak me in bleach. This is already a massive improvement and even the drums feel good cant wait to listen to the full album!

If it makes you feel any better I'm 23 years old and listen to Waylon and Johnny Cash as much as I listen to Amity and bands like Beartooth and BMTH. Music doesn't discriminate, only people do that.

Mitch I get that s lot but I'm 60 and I don't know why people think you are locked into a genre if you listen to TAA. People always say isn't that too heavy? I laugh and tell them I will tell them when it's too heavy

You might also like ocean sleeper, or in hearts wake. They are right up there with TAA in my book.

My family was one of the ones who lost everything in those tornados. My son and i had the pleasure of learning what a tornado sounds like not 10 feet above his head.

yeah man..I was absolutely bawling my eyes out listening to this, i went from being hype af hearing that instrumental intro to crying one minute later, I lost my boyfriend to sxicide, he disappeared one day, and eventually his parents called me and.. yeah, he was actually my first real true love too, the only person I'd ever met who hadn't hurt me or abandoned me, we were together for seven years dating online, and when I found out, I just couldn't live without him, and I attempted to follow him, but like everything in my life, I fail, and I lived, and was monitored for an entire year after that, I constantly think about wanting to do it again, but I know he wouldn't want that, I certainly can't love anymore, I don't want anyone else, everyone else just hurts me, and I can't and won't ever replace him, I definitely struggle with sxlfharm, it's all I can do to try and feel better, I'm just so sick of my life, I'm sick of being abandoned and being alone, I can't handle anymore pain, I'm just..idk..you probably won't even read this, but I figured I'd tell my story for some reason..fxck I hate my life, I always wonder why he did it..was I like, was I not good enough for him? Did I not make him happy enough? Was I really not worth living for? And I constantly blame myself over it, I feel like I'm the one who fxcking kxlled him..I hate it, I hate this world, I hate existing, I hate everything, I just wish it would all end, I wish I'd never wake up and Id be free from all this guilt, grief, agony and pain, I just fxcking want to over with!

@@myfic1900 Yeah mate! No word of a lie. Ahren, was in a band before Amity, back in the day. He also started Amity, where he was the vocalist. He's always been able to do the deathcore type of growl/scream. Then they got Joel, so he was only the bassist/clean vocalist. He started doing it more often (live) just after they released Chasing Ghosts. He also had a few parts in LTOTM. Especially on songs like Deaths Hand. I've been a fan since Glory Days! 😅 So yeah, he does, my friend. 🤌 Seen it multiple times live. Joel and Ahren, both scream during that breakdown, but it's Ahren, who's producing the harsher screams.
