I feel the same way and I'm in my late 30s. I dove headfirst into Stoicism several years ago after reading Aurelius' Meditations at a low point. I studied the men you mentioned and a few others. That provided the framework that most suits me. Stoicism is a pragmatic and dignified way of approaching this fleeting time we have on Earth. I am grateful for it.

Ancient wisdom is so valuable. It’s a shame that most of society deems it outdated and opts to come up with newer rules.

I read 200 books of world classics, passed such life tests that you never dreamed of in your worst dreams. As they say, “the eggs teach the hen”... Don’t forget that in the end you are left alone with your own bile and anger, no matter how many friends you have in life. You are always left alone with yourself. It seems that you are a very unhappy person, because there is such wisdom that when a person is truly happy and everything is wonderful for him, then he does not care about the problems and lives of other people. Remember the secret of the longevity of your fellow countrymen who have crossed the 100-year mark - they did not have the habit of poking their nose into other people's fate and other people's affairs.
