The best description of an angelic encounter I've ever heard. Angels cannot be described. They are experienced.

Angel: oh sorry, let me turn that down a bit.

You think about it, an Angel showing up on the battle field is both a blessing and a terrifying thing (side note, they're suprising close to what the Space Marines are in 40k as their described in the Bible, maybe even the Custodies). It can mean the situation is soo fucked, they habe to deal with it...and they will. They're equally capable of compassion and brutality...whatever God requires of them.

This is a pretty accurate description of what an encounter with an angel would be like (some liberties permitted). Angels as described in the bible are terrifying.

I’m just . . . so thankful that this nascent franchise exists and is actually getting a lot of positive buzz. As a devout and practicing Catholic it’s just so cool to see something like Trench Crusade take Church history, iconography, and Christian cosmology and play it to the hilt. In a way that can be challenging but doesn’t feel like satire or a deliberate attack. It’s just . . . telling a story. Then again, I think we all could use more of that these days. Just, telling a story.

Heretics: We shall convert this world and take the battle to the gates of Heaven itself. One single Angel: N O.

As intense as the story is, the ambiance of the music makes a faithful person like me feel a sense of serenity. This honestly makes me believe the ones who reacted negatively were probably heretics.

Can't stop listening to this. Also it seems to transition well into the song "King of Kings, Lord of Lords" by Mephorash. Very cool.
