And the add the problem is Kadokawa recently announce that they planned to make atleast 30-40 anime by next year and addition to it some of Kadokawa related anime has been delayed instead of July they moved to October

@@anirudhviswanathan3986 it seems. Since Kadokawa have many LN publish each yr and I think those 30-40 anime plans are new series and additional season of some famous Kadokawa LN anime like Re:Zero

I really hope more studios follow Kyo ani and Ufotable's example and actually give a shit about there workers and there well-being and only work on a few projects a year.

One solution I could think of is reduce the number of episodes per season. American cartoons are doing it right. Look at Rick and Morty. They only have five episodes per season and each of them is top-notch. Fans are willing to wait as long as the payoff is good.

This is what producers already do. Big shonen like MHA and SNK have split into a multitude of season. But not all anime can do that and TV channels need to fill their grid. So maybe 6 eps of 50 min can do it. Fans can wait, but I'm not sure for companies

suuuper late pass, but i have a feeling that the anime industry needs to cut back dramatically, and i hope that the success of works that take longer to make will nudge it in that direction i get that anime/manga is exploding in the west, but the western consumers largely don't want to pay for things (outside of some sub-cultures); they pay their subscriptions and that's about it it'd probably be better to significantly dial back production volume while also implementing the solutions you suggest here great video btw!

Well if that means we won't get shit like komi or spy f it let it die fast. Let's go back to great reset and more serious stuff are getting animated instade crap like komi or spy dominating the chart.
