I own an original 1971 Baldwin Motion phase 3 camaro for the past 41 years. Mine has an LS7 454 with a T400 trans and 4.11 gears. No way will i ever get rid of it. I also have the paperwork from Baldwin Chevrolet and Motion performanxe and MR Rossen certified my car. Im also the second owner. I purchased mine when i was 16.
Dale is an Artist!! Paint’s everything at his house, you rolled by a mutual friends place in Mount Lake that Dale has painted a couple cars for, 66’ Chevy 2, 66’ Gto. Totally rad video!!
Ive passed on 2 67 Chevy II back in the 80's allways thought they looked good especialy in marina blue. I just couldnt get past the way they handled with shock tower suspension. Passed back in 80's on few 66-67 chevelles too back then didnt like fact couldnt fit wide tires under them. Man wish I had a do over on the chance now!
Thanks Dezzy and to your friend too. I forget his name. 🤔 Love that acceleration smile. I know it well. I must say, a friend had a 67 SS back in the day, but not with this beast of a power plant..
I’m not really a fan of the 67-68, but I would make an exception for this one, beautiful machine. I have owned many muscle cars, 2 of them were 69 Yenko Camaro’s, but I always wanted a Motion car, I noticed when you opened the passenger door, it has the full frame extensions installed. My ultimate would be a 69 Motion Nova, I don’t know if they ever produced any, I tried for a Yenko Nova in 69, but none were available at the time. About a month after I took delivery of my Camaro, a Rally Green Yenko Nova was delivered to another street racer from my area, I was envious! LOL Keep finding these old beasts, it makes us dinosaurs feel young again! LOL 😂 👍
Alot of people don't have a clue how special and rare that car is a Baldwin motion or yenko or color cars were so bad ass the guy nextdoor to me when I was a kid had a 63 split window vette small block 4 speed and xhe traded it in on a 1969 L88 427 4 speed vette I was 8 years old he paid me $5 buck to help him wash it the first weekend he had it.that car was fast I have a 427 with afr heads L88 rods crank and forged pistons with a Howard's roller cam I'm putting g it in my 8i mo te carlo SS with turbo 400 manual reverse valve body and 3500 stall it dynoed at 661 hp and 605 torque with the howards hydraulic roller and with the solid roller it made 712 hp. Not bad for a 10.7 to 1 compression pump gas engine I can drive anywhere.
My brother Lou at 21 yrs old bought a brand new dark green 68 Camaro RS SS with hounds tooth interior, 375 horse 396 with factory aluminum heads. It had every option except auto trans. The dealer installed a Sun tach, headers, Mallory ign. Holley 3 barrel carb, fuel cool can, traction bars and slicks. I was 11 yrs old. It sucked a valve twice. Before the 68 Camaro he had a new black 67 Firebird 400, 4 speed that he gave to our other brother Jeff when he came home from Vietnam. Both cars have probably been crushed.
Damn what part of the country were you in? There was only a handful of dealers in the country that would've dealer-prepped your brother's car to those specs using the 3 barrel carb, a set of headers upgraded ignition, traction bars ... I know Motion did for sure, as well as Bill Thomas, who tuned the early Grumpy Jenkins Camaro's. I don't believe Nickey or Dana Chevrolet out west did . Yenko I'm not sure What you described sounds like a factory Fathom Green 1968 L89 dealer prepped or another dealer prepped it exactly as a Baldwin Motion . Just the L89 option immediately brings # down to 1 of 311( I believe that's the accepted # of L89 Camaros in 68) If it was a Motion car to boot , idk maybe 10% if that number? Idk if he even pumped out 31 1968 Camaros let alone w/ aluminum heads
I just commented on the GTO video and this further cements my choice. I missed this video somehow yesterday. I'm a mopar guy but I can't deny. This Camaro is bitchin.
I had a friend back in 1969 he had a 68 motion camaro green with black interior I love that car I myself liked the 68 better then the 69 Camaro just like your friend there
Yo bro just seen you yesterday at the old man's house with the station wagon in tacoma was going to stop and chat with you but was in a hurry maybe we can connect? God bless and stay safe!!
Thanks for subscribing! This video is what my channel is all about. Me and my 3 year old son bringing home classic cars: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WQ81-22z4Kg.html
Ive owned many of each 68 and 9. Never liked 67 even though Ive owned 1. Like 69 most but like the 68 dash better than 69 dash. Sharpest I seen was a hugger orange 69 RS But had Z28 clone stuff. Man That was sharp. Back in 1983 I had chance to buy it but at 21 yo back then I couldnt shit the 1900.00 the guy wanted fot it. Back in 1994 I sold my 69 SS clone for 6800 for a down payment for my house. Now almost wish I had car back and a house payment LOL
I love this Camaro!!!!👍Please check out my 1968 Barracuda fastback powered by a rowdy 512 stroker backed by an A833 4 speed manual. I think you'll approve. 👌
Never did understand why people will pay the outrageous amount of money they charge for those shitty bias ply tires. Bias ply tires just suck no matter how you look at it. Cool car .
I absolutely love that car, but who would not love a Motion L88 Camaro SS/RS or any other pony car with a monster under the hood. Please do everyone a favor and put a pool noodle or some padding on the tongue of your utility trailer. When you opened the door, I thought you were going to hit the tongue with the door. That would be a tragedy.
