Episode 1 of the Chainsaw Man Anime was incredible. I literally couldn't have asked for a better adaption. The art direction, animation, ost, voice acting, EVERYTHING was just spot on. Very good use of cg animation too which doesn't feel off putting (at least for me anyway). I'm super excited to see how the anime handles the rest of the series!!! CHAINSAW GO BRRRRRRRRR. Also! Amazing job. This has been one hugely popular manga. It’s like My Hero Academia where I haven’t seen a manga be so popular since that. I’m still super curious and excited for this series myself. I’d love to check out the anime whenever it’s dubbed and brought over here and if it’s something I can really get into, I’d love to try to collect the manga, especially if they do an omnibus version of it. The way you’ve been talking about it for a while makes me all the more excited to see it. Also, the way you described that Aki guy reminds me a lot of Vegeta and other characters like that who get angry that the protagonist has gotten to where they are without the same amount of work as them and see them as immature and unworthy. It also makes me more excited since we have more mangas coming soon like how Hunter x Hunter is coming back in two weeks and we have the next chapter of Berserk coming this week and so on. It’s just shows more why anime and manga are my favourite pieces of entertainment these days and I love it. Can’t wait to check this out and become a fan myself.

Thank you! Happy you enjoyed it! I loved the OP soooo much. You can tell Fujimoto probably helped out in that area considering the amount of references there were to his favourite movies. Fits really well too since it matches how chaotic/all over the place the series is in general. Part 2 has been amazing so far also!
