Naruto is an absolute masterpiece. From the great art, the simple but good power system, having some the best fights in manga/anime history, and having one of the deepest stories I’ve ever experienced in my life. A very satisfying conclusion to a story that has changed my perspective on life and will stick with me until my final days. That’s how much of an impact it had on not only me but a lot of others. This is by far the greatest fictional fight in any form of media imo, better than jet li in THE ONE, Romeo Must Die, or Bruce Lee in enter the dragon. And anime nothing even comes remotely close. This naruto fight was magnificent on some many levels: the visuals, the meaning, emotional impact, literal perfect ending/beginning to a friendship. I personally always thought naruto is the greatest shonen of all time and nothing even comes close and this fight to me solidified it. Thank you for this video and putting more eyes on a show that is weirdly heavily misunderstood (despite it being kinda simplistic) you’re amazing. Thank you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I believe the first naruto vs sasuke fight was better dynamic and faster paced. U could feel the weight as they both seem more emotionally invested despite the final fight having bigger stakes

@@MrDiMES123 I'd argue the final fight in Shippuden does everything better than the first fight, ESPECIALLY if you're talking about being "faster paced". I don't think you realise how long the start of the first fight between Naruto and Sasuke was until Naruto uses the nine tails power to give him a slight boost

Watched the whole video and have absolutely nothing to add to it. You really did a perfectly done job. I hope this video will reach alot of people yo! One lil detail in that fight, that probably doesn’t matter that much, but I think is a very sweet drawback is when Naruto countered Sasukes Chidori after his Sharingan run out of power. Naruto used the weakness of that jutsu that was established since the very beginning. That you’re just way too open with such a jutsu without the Sharingan. Love that detail.

Damn, only 6 minutes in and I can't even imagine how much it took to make this. Script was probably over 10k words. Recording possibly multiple takes, finding all the panels. Fantastic video. Great job with editing and really explaning the little details step by step. Just like you stated, this fight also means a great deal to me and was clearly done with the utmost care. My parents also went through all of Naruto, and the biggest thing they loved and took away from the show was: How you really get to reflect on how you have seen them grow throughout the whole series and turn into the men they are during the fight. I love this video. This editing style is my favourite on RU-vid. The panels look so clean. Just like the studio's work on the fight, I can tell how much care and effort you put into the script and editing. This video, in a way, helped re-ignite my passion & love for this series. Masashi Kishimoto truly created a masterpiece. It's painful when I see people associate Naruto's ending with Kaguya, when this is the true ending of the story. --- If you're interested, I'd love to see similar analysis videos on Boruto. It's not as thematically rich as Naruto, of course, but I think it has its fair share of underappreciated moments. In any case, keep up the good work!!

An absolutely amazing and beautiful video. It’s amazing to see how humongous of a franchise Naruto is and how dedicated its fans are and seeing it still has a huge fanbase and I’m glad that it’s one of the biggest anime and manga franchises ever. Seeing people still praising it is amazing especially since I’ve been seeing hate for it a lot recently. I still believe it to be an amazing franchise and in my top 3 anime of all time. The final fight between Naruto and Sasuke is my favourite anime fight of all time with being beautifully animated and intense and brutal. Not to mention it does an amazing job with closing Naruto and Sasuke’s character arcs. It’s just everything I want as a gigantic fan of this franchise. Not to mention all the small details the anime adds to make it even more interesting and impressive. And you did an incredible job analysing it. I love people still talking about things like this and I’m so happy I’ve been a giant fan of the Naruto franchise since 2011.

I really love the additions that the anime added between the added scenes of them fighting all the way up to the what I like to call the purgatory world that they're in after losing their arms showing how far they've come yet giving Sasuke a glace into Narutos perspective with the whole scene of Sasuke alone, Naruto with the world then showing his conversation with Itachi about him leaving Sasuke in Narutos hands I think it's add so much to the story with emotional pull, it's my favorite fight in the whole series and this video just helped me love it even more so, so thank you for yet another wonderful video and discussion

I think one final element you could have covered was Storm 4's rendition of the fight. Being the first time we'd see it fully animated and voiced and how it compares to the anime. Stellar video otherwise

I was considering talking about it, but it would of made the video that much longer 🤣 Also wasn't sure if many people would of cared since I assumed most just wanted to know about the anime and manga since they're the main deal. But I could of noted some elements like that final rasengan vs chidori clash when it comes to showing them age from past to present, because it feels like the anime picked up on that idea and ran with it. Watching the final fight between Naruto & Sasuke for the first time was one of the most emotional moments ive ever experienced. I cant imagine Kishimoto writing a better conclusion than he did. I loved Naruto even before this but this took it to a whole other level. Ever since the first fight at the final valley, I expected Naruto and Sasuke’s rematch to be the finale. And I was enjoying the entire journey that came along with it.

Just watched this with my wife who just got into naruto last year(also first anime she ever really watched), made her watch the entire anime until the current boruto episodes, she got so caught up with this story that she even wishes to forget it all just so she can watch it again as if it were the first time. As somebody who grew up watching the story unfold, seeing this analysis couldn't help but break us both into tears in the latter half of the video. Thanks for reminding us how great this character arc was. Keep it up!

10:32 dude this is exactly why i don’t understand the disappointment some people had about the conclusion to the pain arc There are quite a number of people, even youtube channels, who complain that naruto used talk no jutsu to defeat nagato in the end but it wasn’t a defeat! It was such a great sign of change and resolution, that naruto was the hero ninja who could learn to solve conflict without violence!! Also wanna note some extra details like naruto only summons 4 clones at a time since (i think) he learned at the pain battle that 4 clones is the most he can make of clones that don’t poof from a hit but actually need a lethal blow But also the uzumaki barrage was improved with a punch the end instead of a kick because at the very first naruto vs sasuke fight (the one with the water tanks), sasuke countered the barrage kick with his sharingan and turning to divert the kick and then catch naruto with a fireball. In this final battle, sasuke does EXACTLY the same move so they end up punching each other

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed with the fight in the manga, but the anime really did it justice. While I appreciate that some of it was for intentional effect like Naruto and Sasuke starting full throttle I think the fact that Kishimoto had to end the series at chapter 700 also significantly limited the detail he could incorporate into the fight. My biggest issue is Sasuke not using the Rinnegan nearly enough, especially chakra absorption, which would be very effective. When he uses it near the end it's almost like he forgot about it.

Yeah I can understand some of what you're saying. I do think it's more than just a coincidence that the manga happened to end on a nice memorable number like 700 exactly, so while there's nothing out there to prove ending the series on this number was a must, it's for sure a possible theory. But I do think the shar-rinnegan was used appropriately. Switching out one of Naruto's orbs to get behind him, using it to bring the tailed beasts to him to absorb their power in his susanoo (or even putting them all under his control with a single glance followed by using chibaku tensei at the very start before the fight), and absorbing kuruma's chakra. So I wouldn't say he didn't use it enough. He was still fairly new with it too so he wouldn't be as experienced with using it, especially considering how worn down his body must have been throughout all of this.

@@Mikeyuubi Yeah, I am pretty sure whatever chapter is gonna be the last has to be cleared with the Jump chief editor well in advance, because so much depennds on it, like the color chapter or even when a new series is launched to replace it. Sasuke being untrained in the Rinnegan and it being taxing explains why he did not use some of his abilities much, but for chakra absorption there is no good explanation, because it is actually a chakra positive that can be used to replenish your reserves and beat your foe and it only requires touch. Sasuke spent literally hours brawling, boxing, wrestiling Naruto with non-stop contact, it really could have occured to him to use his chakra drain there.

Thanks for your comment! I did try at one point to record the video with me speaking faster, but it resulted in three issues. One of them was what I talk about can be a lot to digest so quickly, so I was worried some words I say may not be taken in to some viewers because I'm simply going too fast. The other issue it presented was not having enough time to showcase certain images or scenes on screen. When I'm recording my lines, I'm always trying to picture in my head how long a image would be on screen for, so with that, I add more emotion in my voice by perhaps slowing myself down if an impactful moment is on screen to match it. And the final issue it presented was that it's not possible for me to talk that fast 🤣 My voice is very posh so I slip up on words, especially if I'm reading fast. It also just won't feel like a natural commentary which is what I'm trying to aim for. But I'm glad it worked out for you by speeding things up! Sorry you had a issue with that, but I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😄

My only nitpick about the fight, is that like 90% of badass moments went to sasuke. Naruto was getting his ass handed to him most of the fight by playing defense most of the time. Still my fav fight tho.
