mr. Scott Adkins you urgently need to do a movie with mr. Bren Foster, that would be a super action movie.

Came back and watched this again after watching Bren's directorial debut, Life After Fighting. Seriously, one of the best action crime-drama's of 2024. Bren knocks it out of the park with this film, and the fights are absolutely bone-crushingly brutal. Highly recommended.

Loved the whole Brit/Aussie vibe between Scott and Bren here. Honestly, I feel that could play brothers in a movie since they have similar martial arts backgrounds and are the about the same age. Aside from that, this is another excellent interview. Lots of laughs and lots of insights. You'll never be perfect, but you can always strive for it, that really struck me. Wishing the Bren the best. And thank you again Scott 😀. [EDIT] Ha, wrote that Scott and Bren should play brothers before Scott mentioned it! Even he sees the possibility! Awesome!

Finally, BREN FOSTER, he's such a nice guy and for me probably the BEST Martial Artist in the movie business right now. It's a shame he has never had bigger lead roles in high budget movies. Could actually also imagine seeing him as the next James Bond on the big screen. Let's hope that there's gonna be a movie soon (before they are in their 60's) with Scott Adkins teaming up with Bren!!

What i really admire about this generation of martial arts action stars is the top guys respect each other and want to work with each other. Previous generation was more about showing off what they can do on screen to make the movie successful and do something to get the job done. This generation seems to have more respect for each other. And this is quite evident after watching Scotts channel.

So glad to see my Cobra Kai - Scott Adkins at it again with his breath taking and insightful interviews!!! One more superb interview exceptionally done! And what I really admire about you, Scott is the way you give priority to the angle that the cameraman shoots which is really what makes any action scene eye catching and entertaining. But as you so rightly put it, those camera persons who don't know this for a fact "should be shot!" May you get to produce, direct and act in many more awesome action movies and may your fire always keep burning, Scott...

Unfortunately there aren't much out there! I loved his work on last ship.. Mostly season 3 where he has several fights..while in 2, 4, 5 he just has one short fight each season Film wise he has one fight in a segal film that they showed here completely.. And then he is in force of execution..which isn't a great film per se but it's Bren's biggest martial arts role and has a lot of great scenes in there... The hallway scene with the spinning hook kick is from that movie and he does a lot of different syles and has a lot of fights... That's currently the only one.. Plus a short fight scene on deep blue sea 3 that you find on RU-vid I am super excited about the project he talked about in the end..plus he has a lot of pre viz stuff on his Instagram

31:40 the "wobble" that stunt guys do is such a bad habit, good point here. It makes us look too cooperative, sometimes even weaker than the untrained actor we're fighting, who's at least keeping eye contact the whole time. Keeping eye contact is strong.

When you're training in THAT many different martial art forms, how do you ever have the time to master any of them? It's impressive to say the least, but you only have so much time to spend with each discipline, which begs the question...jack of all trades and master of none? It's a question I've always had as a long term practitioner of Shotokan/JKA karate. I would love a conversation on this topic. I'm truly fascinated with this stuff and Scott is an amazing interviewer.

The key is to train at one art at the time. He said he didn't do it all at ones, he started with taekwondo when he was very young then kick boxing at 14 and BJJ at 21. There are gaps between before he shifted to other arts then he studied Silat which is not a filipino martial arts by the way. We Filipinos have Cali and Dumog we don't do silat maybe the Maranaos and the Isnig before the spanish colonialism uses silat but not the Borneans who came here first.

Mr Foster you should document & post on your RU-vid channel as you make this new film & show some behind the scenes of fights & let your fandom enjoy these great martial arts skills. There’s surprisingly little of you online & we need & want more, as the high views of stuff already posted tells you! Foster vs Adkins in a new futuristic low budget bad ass fight flick produced by Adkins with Foster as our good guy lead so we can get to know him & as bad guy, which ScotyBoi does well, he won’t have to be on set fighting as much & can introduce others to this overlooked bad ass. Put Martyn Ford, Daniel Chupong & Alain Moussi in there as well as an actor like say Michael Wincott (Top Dollar ) or Travis Fimmel (Ragna Lothbrook)

Yeah, Bren Foster is truly one of the most amazing martial artists that have ever hit the screens. When it comes to Hollywood, again I don't wanna take anything away from all the other great martial artists already there, but in my opinions Bren outclasses all of them in many areas. It's like you said here when you mentioned his ability to generate speed and power. There are many, very famous martial artists who sacrifice power to gain speed. Donnie Yen, whom you mentioned here when you talked about Bren's turning back kick, does that exact thing believe it or not. Bren is different, he does the way a martial artists is supposed to, USE SPEED TO GAIN POWER. In this respect, in his ability to deliver speed and power he is unmatched, at least in the Western movie industry. And boy does he have a huge amount of martial arts knowledge. Which is why it's so confusing that he doesn't get roles. He's not just a martial artist (a phenomenal one) but he's also a TRAINED actor. So why is he ignored? Like I said on the teaser video, that is very suspicious.

@@lordoffaiyum9727 That's exactly what I'm thinking too. And now he's making a movie about child trafficking. So I think we know exactly why Hollywood doesn't like him... LOL.
