If RVZ came back first thing is kick his no talent bother ass ,I retired from the country music side after-forty years and back- stabbing by record companies is a money grabbing business and it took WAYLON, WILLIE, TOM- PAUL, BOBBY BEAR to make them change their ways of only giving the music acts half of what they had coming and wouldn't give them what they had made off hit songs and CD,s,But the people in the booking companies where I worked and the big-shots on music -row called the shots on who would make it or kick your ass to the curb ,they all new that Gary ran LS AND THAT JOHNNY was RVZ kid brother who cant sing a note but can make the fans laugh cause they no he is a FOOL and RICKY KISSES GARY ASS TO BE IN THE BAND, When RVZ died so did the LS that we all loved and listen too, GARY and ALLEN both tried to make it after the crash but couldn't pull it off but did with the LS name with LEON, BILLY,ARTEMUS, STEVE, ALLEN and poor old BOB who passed away also ED KING who has died GARY made no talent johnny, ass kisser Ricky millionaires ,I saw some great bands break-up over money or a woman and CCR over a mad-man MR.FOGETY who wanted 75% of all money made by the band and the 25% split between the other three plus the record company's, booking company's agents, In One year the band made a million dollars, John Fogerty received 750,000 and the balance split between rest of the band record company's, agent, booking company ,I think one agent said the other three got 14,00 apiece and rest split between agents and the rest, Now you see why three band members hated john and sued him.

Artimus has many reasons to do that ,and remember not only Artimus was treated like that Ed King too ..so don't think that Ronnie would be pissed maybe Other side would get kicked....HOWEVER RONNIE IS NOT HERE AND WE WILL NEVER FIND OUT ... personally i thing that Artimus tells more truth than Gary Judy and others everyone of them has his own perspective and i think Artimus and Gene Odom telling more accurate even if they dislike each other but like booth of them

He was accused of and arrested for a horrible crime committed against his young daughters, which, from what I understand, he ran out of money to fight and copped a plea to avoid prison. I think the severity of the accusation frightens people off. There is no resolution as far as absolute guilt or innocence so no one wants to be associated with him. It's a sad story and I'm not stating anything as far as outcome, this is just what is standing between Artimus and everyone else.

No he would be pissed and embarrassed at Johnny for being disrespectful at the Skynyrd hall of fame induction.

Yeah, life is too short to be this bitter--but he has made a 2nd career of being the ousted bitter guy. Sad, as I always thought he could play his ass off.

if you were in as many plane crashes as Artimus, I think it was 3. Plus his father was killed in an mid-air plane collision. I could understand why he's bitter. Especially getting fired from The Rossington Van Zant Tribute Band.

It seems like over the decades! The story has changed how the plane crash in elements! I heard that for the longest time to that Ronnie hit a tree! Gene odom in a very recent interview said Ronnie in one of the elements to his death that he smothered ! With all the people that was on top of him ! I mean yeah ! This year is the first I've ever heard of a tv! I'm confused!

@Cousin Figel I'm pretty sure it was Ronnie who had the final word.I've even saw a video where Gene Odom said, that Ronnie threatened to fire anyone who didn't fly with the rest of the band.

Tell us about all of your heroic deeds from the plane crash you were in, sir. We'd all love to hear about em. For the record, it was Billy Powell who said (on VH1 "Behind the Music") that his ribs were sticking out of him. Artimus never said that. I'd also remind you that the 26 souls on that aircraft just went through a PLANE CRASH!!! Most in severe condition, both mentally and physically. And in shock. Once again, I find it fascinating how many "experts" there seems to be about this. People who aren't connected to the band in any way, or even KNOW anyone in the band, somehow they always seem to know more about everything than the people who were there do. Unless you can tell me where YOUR seat was on the plane, you probably shouldn't act as if you know better about what happened than a person who WAS on that plane. Common sense....it's not so common anymore. 🙄
