Over two days, we went to: Isleworth Worting Junction (2) Wilmington (Honiton Bank) Plymouth St Germans Royal Albert Bridge Hemerdon Exeter St Davids The climb to Exeter Central (2) Gillingham Elm Hill Monxton Brookwood
Another Epic production with great locations and superb filming technique on an unforgettable tour. I particularly enjoyed the final scenes from evening into night, very atmospheric. Alan
Thanks very much Alan. The scenes at Brookwood weren't supposed to be the end of the video. The plan was to end up back at Isleworth where it all began. But a mixture of a diversion and some slack driving by me meant we arrived at the station just seconds before the train with no time to set up. On the whole though it was a most enjoyable trip.
Much appreciated comment as always Bob. We only let you see the successful side of our trips. This one included two locations where we got there too late to do anything. We had a torrid time getting out of Exeter on the Friday meaning we couldn't go where we wanted to be. And worst of all, two instances one after the other where yours truly managed to have the camera unknowingly recording, and when Tangmere arrived at and departed Exeter, switched it off, meaning we got nothing. But it turned out alright in the end.
1Z64 However Martyn, that's where the professionalism comes in, the results you produced are of such a high quality in all respects, that what's left out doesn't distract from the enjoyment of watching...Keep up the good work...Best wishes...Bob
Superb video . So many places you captured this . What a fantastic weekend you had. Well chosen locations. We saw this tour as well including that fantastic sight at Exeter Central. Thoroughly enjoyable watching. Will upload later C&A
Thank you C&A. We had a great weekend, spoke to a lot of interesting people, and got some quality footage. Not everything went entirely to plan but it was a worthwhile trip.
Superbly chosen locations all round, lovely closing shot of Brookwood by moonlight. Whatever is an old Tube carriage doing in a hedge in the middle of nowhere?
Thank you for your comment Andrei. The Tube carriage is in a back garden along with two others and RT 4777. The owner was stood at the crossing telling the story behind them to some others but I wasn't able to hear.
