Same. I went there for gearfest and one of their recruiters wanted me to sit down for an interview....if it wasnt for the fact i would have to move across the country from my friends and family and I would have done it in a heartbeat.
He joined 5 months after they formed and had to use that email cause their drummer, Lyler Jones, already had that. Also Lyler Tarson isn't even his real name, his real name is Gary Gary Gary Gary the fourth.
Tyler you're such a goofball and I love it that's probably one of the best parts of your channel is your personality! I think in today's world people are way too serious so you bringing some comic relief to the guitar Community is awesome thank you. But when you need to be serious and teach us something about the guitar you always are there thanks again
100th like and yeah, Tyler is an awesome content creator, great guy, great musician, great comedian and maybe not so great husband (I am talking about that one video where he was scaring his wife with guitar amp), he really is one of the best youtubers!
You can allways find perspective with this guy. Like when his old guitarteacher says: "Record yourself". And in this video the poor Sweetwater employee records himself. AND IT'S NO GOOD?!? 😂😂😂
That place is SO awesome. I am a dealer for American Landmaster whos home base is just down the road. Every time we go there, the reps take me to sweetwater for lunch, and I wonder around.. What an amazing place to work!
Just went here for the first time today. Little did I know it's less then 2 hours from my house. One of the cooler music stores I've been to. Going here from now on for any new purchases. The staff are great. Going to here from guitar center to here is night and day..
i live in the town it’s in, and it’s taken over!! everything is owned by them lol. they have restaurants, a theater, a medical clinic? just so much stuff around town is owned by them it’s crazy bc my grandpa knows the owner
I would guess a switchup of Tyler Lawson. The real question is, who is Tyler Lawson? is it A), some dude who played Johnny B. Goode with a school band at age 15, B), a pro hockey player C), a mathematics professor at University of Minnesota D), a pro golfer, or E), all of the above?
I saw a comment said you're funny but serious when needed. And its true. You are one of my favorite RU-vidrs. To laugh or to learn either way thank you for the videos man.
As someone who lives like 15 minutes away from Sweetwater, I can say it's amazing. Been taking lessons there for a few years and it's been the one place I've bought my gear from. My Amps, all of of my guitars, and even my straps and cables have been from there. The employees are always willing to help you with getting a guitar, and they have a huge variety of unique and exclusive models. I really recommend that any musician about an hour away or so visits this place at least once.
I tried to buy a guitar from Guitar Center yesterday. When the employee was ringing it up, he said he couldn’t sell it to me because he just noticed the sticker on the label “Due to a local ordinance, this guitar is not to be sold until --insert date here--“ Unfortunately most of the guitars I was looking at had these stickers. So I left and went to SweetWater instead. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Guitar Center. Such a smooth experience with Sweetwater. No wonder Guitar Center is going bankrupt. They don’t even sell half of their guitars on the floor.
That's so weird I just discovered Sweet Water last week. First time I called the guy I talked was awesome. I wasn't able to buy what I wanted (shipping issues to Canada) but the guy who was a musician and engineer, gave me all his direct contact info and said I could call him for any question, even unrelated to their products
Just got an Orange Micro Dark amp and Cab bundle off Sweetwater's site. I was surprised to see the care that went into thanking me for purchasing from them.
Normally I don't care one way or the other for big chains but when I'm not buying used gear Sweetwater is my favorite for NEW stuff! They will beat any competitors price as well. Your salesperson will call you and they are all just awesome musicians that will talk you through your purchasing decisions or things you might want in the future... doesn't matter if you are beginner, intermediate or pro
Ok so if you have never bought from sweetwater before lemme tell you something thats just amazing about them. they are the only people i know who will send a little bag of candy with every order and they will give you a personal call thanking you for your order, doesnt even have to be big. i just bought some drum sticks and they thanked me
I was working on a song and it was a little heavier than usual... I thought to myself "what do I need to do here to make it sound better?" then it hit me *DISTORTION AND DELAY MY CHILD* that's literally what my brain said to me... you've thought me well...
Sweetwater is the only place i buy my gear.....randy poteete is the best...... so is aweetwater .... and of course tyler.... thanks for giving me a grin this morning
I grew up in Fort Wayne and remember going to Sweetwater when they just had a little place on bass road. It's cool to see how big they have gotten. You still need to check out Casino guitars in southern pines, NC.
@@dylanhodgesmusic thanks for the update. I've been to the new one. I was back in ft wayne in December and it's always a place I have to go. Lol. I do agree though. Its freaking huge now. Some of my friends are working there now. I should have stayed so I could have to. Lol.
