Take a look at this. The Young Bangles, introduced by Run DMC, singing Walk Like An Egyptian in 1987. This is from the first ever "World Music Video Awards" organised by the embryonic Sky Channel in January 1987. The countdown clock says 1986, but the techie hadn't got used to the new year yet. Award winners got a framed hologram and I have one of them on the wall (no, I didnt win it!, I acquired it!)
