As a german Metalhead, I'm especially pleased that you covered this song from one of our "native" bands, Blind Guardian, one of my favorite metal bands! 🤘🤘 Interesting fact... according to RU-vid, Blind Guardian should better cover Camile & Kennerly, not the other way round: their official RU-vid Channel has 100,000 subscribers and 29.5 million views. That is only a margin of Camille & Kennerly's. So by covering their song, YOU helped THEM becoming more famous on RU-vid, not the other way round. 😳

It was because of Camille and Kennerly with their version of "The Bard's Song (In the Forest)" that had me find out about Blind Guardian and the first time I visited their youtube channel (now 145k subscribers) to see what they were about. I'll have to explore a number of songs as they changed band members through time but I found a few songs I like with the few I listened to. 🙂

+Shay Hinskens ~ No, we do not have lever changes the way we arranged this cover. :) :) However, we are creating music videos that are samples of our performance material, not tutorial videos. This video was filmed by a student videographer friend. 72 of our 76 videos are self-made samples of music we have arranged ourselves for our actual performances - Only our 2 harp parts - but No backtrack, harp overlays, loops, studio, crew, etc. Thank you for the kind comment and interest. We love the challenge of arranging music for only our two harp parts that was originally played by an entire rock group, or orchestra - using no backtrack, harp overlays, loops, etc. It would be easier for us to post a literal cover of playing over a backtrack, but we do not want to create a duplicate of something that already exists. Instead, we hope to create an arrangement that brings something new and different to a song that has already been done.
