I really think Dice have no cure anymore. Everything that's comes out from that studio doesn't make sense, they don't know what Balance means in a FPS video game. Until they don't understand what Battlefield means we have no Hope . Great video Bro 👍

As a console player (formerly PC) I will not play any first person shooter, including battlefield that enables crossplay by default, I feel it was only done to try and prevent cheat software programmers from creating cheats by making it harder to code cheats for cross platform servers, By placing PC players into console servers they have basically been given the advantages that hackers had on windows based platforms when pitted against against a controller. Even with aim assist (which will only snap to a target within a certain range of degrees and distance, not follow) the balance of the game has been thrown to the dogs. After two years cheats are available on the PC and those cheats have found their way into console games, something I've never seen before. I gave Battlefield 2042 a fair chance simply because of nostalga and the graphics are great, but theres more to a good game than looking good and I feel the developers involved in this franchise really need to start learning that. They need to abandon the idea that proggression and unlocks is mainly focused on kills, Thats call of duty, Battlefield was always about taking and holding territory and you can't do that if players have abandoned the idea of defence because they have rushed over to the most populated area of the map. Battlefield games became like a merry-go-round on the map, where flags would be taken, yet all the effort put into taking a flag would be pointless because once taken there was no defence and the flags were left free for a random player, even on his own to secure the objective. There was always a point to the abreiviation PTFO.

BF is not dead yet, it is on life support. if dice wants to revive it they need to release bad company 3 with BC2 destruction, BFV movement & gunplay & get back to the well know class system where medics carey bandages & have only access to smgs, assault to AR... & so on...no more stupid cosmetics that nobody care about, just focus on gameplay mechanics, map rotation like BF1....etc

Hopefully they make the next one a banger! Or they can just leave Battlefield alone for a little bit and come back to Star Wars Battlefront 2 or make a new Battlefront! 😅

It’s an interesting situation. It almost seems like they might never truly appeal to their older core players as they seem to prefer the older games, so they’re either just make a remake game, or do something WILDLY different like a battle Royale to try to draw in fresh players.

I've just started playing BFV, cracking game. I don't think BF is dead because 2042 misfired, unless the community talks it into the ground (which it's doing a bloody good job of doing now). However if it misfires again, well that's probably it. I completely agree there's a tension between those wanting fast paced arcade shooters and others who want it slow & more deliberate, and Dice will just have to make its call on that. The biggest thing Dice needs to do is sort out Anticheat, and move away from these ancient ways of doing it & go for data-driven AI powered bans. Look at the millions upon millions of shots every day players make, model what is and is not statistically possible for each weapon / range / map etc and identify the players not just in the p1, but the p0.1 persistently then automatically ban them. Look at player speed too, shot frequency (infinite ammo cheats like on BFV). Stop trying to block the cheats because you can't. Instead, focus on data to detect cheats. If they can't do that? They're dead. BF2042 is already a cesspit of cheaters sadly, at least in Asia. Even better, take the cheats and don't ban them -- just put them in matches against each other.

2042 had a shaky start…….. but it definitely got better. I still love playing it and the short run game types are really good. There’s a few things that really pss me off 1- The squirrel suit…. Stupid idea that needs huge suspension of disbelief to accept as realistic in any way. Jumping of a cliff or tall building… ok. But from a single storey. ? 2- Scatter grenades….. these ruin the flow of the game play enormously. 3- 4 or 5 rpg hits to stop an armoured vehicle…! Never takes that many in Ukraine and 2 or 3 would do it n previous iterations. By far the best addition to the franchise… The Bolte. By far the most fun I’ve had inna vehicle in any BF game. FPS meets Forza Horizon - what’s not to like .!

I think its not dead but we will have to see what happens in bext if next is like this then its deffinitely dead.
