Not sure about history but it’s a highlight of the series. I think it’s a great depiction of a positive moment in someone’s life can change who they are. He’s still him, but far more focused and sure of who he is as a man.
I feel the same way. When I think about this show, Richie is more dominant in my thoughts than Carm. We really want to see Richie, after sowing such vulnerability, get some confidence and then find a purpose. "I wear suits now"
This is the term " devil is in the detail". If you really work in any field that you are applying, a simple detail expose more than what's written in your resume
I feel like this is also a throwback to Sydney's resume. She's worked at several restaurants and Carmy's impressed by this, but here Richie argues that it might as well be a sign she's not competent.
I really hope Richie doesn’t follow down the same path as Carm (being a POS to underlings when the people who gave him this knowledge had 8,000x more patience with him than he has with them). It’d be a good storyline but so brutal. Richie’s got a good heart but this scene just made me think of that
My manager would do the same. Before opening, he would slightly move random elements on the dining tables to see you would catch and move them back before the doors opened
If people don't understand this, it's like watching a non guitar player like a modell fake a photoshooting holding a guitar. You can clearly see what's wrong in every detail and it would drive professionals nuts...
