This is my cover of Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles. My son got a western guitar for christmas - so i had to try it out :) By the way: check out my son playing Sweet child o mine on his christmas present: • Video
it's actually very simple to play, but to play it properly with the correct amount of strumming + picking is difficult. If you skimp on either or do too much of either it doesn't sound right .
@@arnaeus7448 I would like to hear you play it to be honest. I'd be intrigued as to how well someone could play this after only 6 months of ever playing guitar
He did do a very good job, way better than me at the moment. But I must say Paul Davids did a very in-depth look into every little detail about this lovely song. If you’re looking to learn it then I’d highly suggest checking it out.
my late dad, was a die-hard the Beatles fan, and he used to play this song on his guitar. upon playing this vid, I can feel his spirit coming into my room and ask me to play this video on repeat, thanks!
Thomas75s, You are truly gifted on the 6 string. Some time ago I stumbled upon your rendition of Stairway To Heaven and instantly became a fan. I would love to hear/see you cover REO Speedwagon's "Roll With The Changes" Like you, Gary Richrath is an awesome player and his solo in it is a favorite of mine. From the Dark Side of the Globe- Many Thanks, David, Indianapolis, Indiana. 🎸🔊🎵
Learned this classic years ago from a similar post, played it often for my Grandkids. Severely injured my left index finger in a log splitter months ago. Been making cords with just 3 fingers for a while now. But with PT I’m slowly getting better - thought I’d try this and found your post. Can almost play it again… I appreciate the step down you added on the E cord. Truly feel hopeful after playing along - Here Comes the Sun 🌞 Thanks Again!
Very well done. Been working on this for a few days. Trying to let my fingers build the memory. Learned a couple things here. Love the walk down on the E7, something i had never seen. You play this perfectly. Inspiring. Thank you!
Booked Marked, learnt the song in the past but this version is more accurate to the original recording so will be re learning your version. Top marks for doing this, spot on sir!!
Dude, I love how your guitar sounds! What tone!! I just bought my first decent guitar the other day. A Washburn WD20S made in 1994. Sort of has the same looking finish on the front. That creamy orange brown. Lovely guitar. Excellent playing. Hope you have a good one!
WELL DONE and what a great sounding Taylor! It is a Taylor, right? ;) Edit: It's not a Taylor, but it definitely looks & sounds as good as one! If not better?
Youre right. Its not a Taylor. Its a pretty cheap copy - but when i tried it out in the store i felt that it could compete soundwise with guitars much more expensive
Great job! You play it so perfectly. I have been trying to learn this song for over a month (75 hours) and beginning to realize I will never learn it. How many hours did it take for you to play it so well?
Amazing ur insanely talented my friend and i so glad u covered such a song which worth to be covered over our terrible generation song ur ...I really wanna use this cover in my videos if u don’t mind i will credit ur hard work
Best cover I’ve heard! Similar to how I play but I love what you do on the E7 chord. Did you learn this from ear or tab? I will watch closely and study to relearn the E7 part how you do it
Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right Here comes the sun do, do, do Here comes the sun And I say it's all right
@@guccimane8941 I had a really hard time with those two notes, so George showed me the way. It's an interesting two notes. I watched back in the 80s, and never forgot it...
I threw my phone trying to learn this. Its not like I can’t play the chords or struggle with string skipping. Its just that the time signature or just the flow of the song is pretty weird. I find myself repeating the strumming and picking when the song dosen’t.
