Attend my Strong & Lean After 30 Bootcamp: bit.ly/StrongLeanOver30
In today’s video we’re talking about the benefits of High Frequency Calisthenics (HFC) as we grow older.
Now, some may think that training every day is harder...
Others might think that it can even lead to overtraining!
But, if you know how to do it properly, each workout can actually leave you rejuvenated for the rest of the day, and motivated to train the next one!
As we move passed your 30s and beyond, HFC can help us build more muscle, improve performance, and burn more fat!
It can also be a great way to promote longevity and stay strong, lean, mobile and healthy as we move past your forties and beyond!
Finally, it’s also a great way to make exercise a habit since doing a little bit of something on a daily basis is one of the best ways to make a behavior automatic!
Watch the video now!
P.S. The Strong & Lean Over 30 Bootcamp starts in a few weeks!

Absolutely. This is what I have done for years and at 57, I'm stronger and more lean now than ever. I find it most useful to consider weekly volume rather than daily volume and how to manage the tradeoff between intensity and fatigue becomes easier with smaller, more frequent doses. Excellent video, Anthony!

Perfect summary, I can’t attest to this approach doing the bootcamp with Anthony. This is the most consistent I’ve stayed with my workouts since my 20’s!! I was chatting with a buddy on the community yesterday that the workouts including a solid warmup takes about 25 mins out in the fresh air to. With the new round of bootcamp it’ll be 1 year working out with you for some of us…don’t you go sneaking any of those sloth workouts in mind!

High frequency is honestly the way to go. At 35 I can say this approach is very sustainable.

Thanks for the video. Enjoying the series and looking forward to the next. All of it makes sense and is very similar to my own experience and philosophy of working out for those of us men at a "certain age". ;-)

Anthony, 52 now and while my body is way past its greatness days I'm still in a great shape working out daily and focusing on technique over numbers Best thing of all training keeps me focused on neuromuscular training, playing close attention to the most minute details and giving an ever bigger scope to skills which makes the process more entertaining, challenging and intriguing. After nailing my freestanding handstand I'm now going for HSPU and keeping planche in the back burner meanwhile. Do you think me too daring!!!. Regardless whether I ever manage to unlock more skills ambitious goals keep me thriving to be the best version of myself and that in itself is worth the process. Drop me your thoughts here if you read this and let me know what you think. Thanks Anthony!!!. Let's keep on grinding away!!.

Hello Victor! Nice to hear from you! Sounds like your doing great brother! As to my thoughts, I think you're doing great. As long as what you're doing is not in cost of injury or more wear and tear than your body can recover from, you're doing great! Anything more specific you want to ask?

Hi Brian, I recommend taking an extra day of simply walking (instead of calisthenics) in the middle of the week. Other than that yes!

Hi BB, if would say six workouts per week. But a HFC plan can also be organized in four workouts. I'll give you more details about all in the next video 💪🏻

@@BodyweightMuscle I started from 3 days a week with 12 supersets per movement pattern (for 15 weeks), and then currently I work out 5 days a week with 15 supersets per movement pattern. I am planning to work out 6 days a week with 18 supersets per movement pattern 10 to 15 weeks later from now. Does this sound okay?

32 and just started calisthenics training about 4 months ago. Prior to that it was powerlifting for roughly ten years. I had no idea how worn down I was from powerlifting. Calisthenics has already renewed my energy levels in a way words can’t describe. Great content! Thanks for the info

Can relate to that, being 31 having done powerlifting for 5 past years and my joints feel so fucked up from that. Although you never hear a thing about it on internet, only thing you find is how good heavy lifting is on the joints and even detremintal if you dont hehe.
