The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off of a season that unraveled before their very eyes after Joe Burrow exited for the season with a wrist injury on Week 11. Urgency is ticking high as the Bengals will have some serious decisions to make when it comes to paying and retaining players at the end of this year. But now, it’s time to perform under pressure and after a tumultuous offseason, who is better at responding to uncertainty than the Bengals? Well, there’s the Chiefs but you get my point. In this video I explain why I think the Bengals are going to be dangerous this year. If you enjoyed this video, please LIKE and SHARE it as well as SUBSCRIBE to the channel! Have a great day!

9-8 and let’s not forget Tyler Boyd dropped a Td to win the game vs Houston in the end zone, and also were leading KC pretty late into that game as well. Almost an 11 win team with a broken burrow and Jake browning most of the season. Now with the 4th place schedule and imo an upgraded roster? I believe it will be a special year

I definitely believe that the argument can be made that this year’s Bengals roster is upgraded, that’s a good point. And you’re right, both the Texans and Chiefs games were close and could just as easily gone the other way. We can’t forget how good this team really is and I firmly believe that we’re all going to be reminded of it this year. I can’t wait to watch the Bengals in September!

Something that isn’t being talked about enough is Burrow’s new weapons. Mike Gesicki and Jermaine Burton. Gesicki is a huge upgrade at te and had back to back 700 yard szn when he was on the dolphins. While losing Tyler boys hurt I think we have a more dynamic weapon in Burton. He’s way quicker than Boyd and is better at contested catches.

That’s a great point about Gesicki and Burton, I totally forgot to mention them in this video. They are definitely both upgrades to the Bengals offense and I think it could look even better overall than it has.

good analysis...Burrow has had only 2 healthy seasons and he reached the afc championship in both, and went to the superbowl in one...most talking heads seem to ignore that fact...

Thank you, I really appreciate that! That is a fact, when Burrow is healthy Cincinnati is always one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL when it matters most. I’ll always defend Joe Burrow for that!

Yes Tyler Boyd did drop the game winning td in Houston last year.

Joe Burrow leases Mahomes and absolutely owns Allen. Josh Allen is physically talented but as a QB he is good but not great.

Burrow and Mahomes are a great matchup every time and Burrow never shied away from the challenge of Mahomes which I really respect. I would say that Josh Allen solidified his position as great because of how he responded when his back was against the wall last year. He is more than a physical talent at this point but he does make bad decisions at times which is why even though he’s great I would take Burrow and Mahomes over him.

Still riding the one year they went to the Super Bowl. They haven’t done anything since.

They went to the AFC Championship the year after and almost won in Arrowhead again. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Dude holdouts are becoming a part of the norm in the offseason now numerous teams have guys complaining about their deals every offseason. Chris jones did it for the chiefs and even set out the first game last yr it’s just the norm now.

Wrong dude! Zach Taylor is and always has been the play caller for the Bengals. From day 1 until right now. It’s his offense. Pitcher might bring a few things but he has been learning under Taylor and Callahan for the past 5 years. But it’s the same Exact offense and Taylor will Still be calling the plays.
@TheErawithBrianGregoire
@TheErawithBrianGregoire 2 месяца назад
Zac Taylor actually said that he’s considering dividing up play calling duties with Pitcher now that he’s the OC, dude. And I’m well aware of Tyler Boyd’s dropped pass but he is still a notable departure that did a lot for the Bengals.

Why are we still pushing the "Tee Higgins situation" narrative. It's really not that big of a deal.
@TheErawithBrianGregoire
@TheErawithBrianGregoire 2 месяца назад
It’s all solved for this year but it’s going to have to get figured out at some point. Cincy is either going to have to pay him or let him walk at the end of this season. So while the narrative is not a huge deal, it has to be acknowledged when the Bengals are approaching a season with a lot of urgency to win the franchise’s first Super Bowl.

@@TheErawithBrianGregoire He either plays well or he gets injured again. Definitely more on him to prove himself worthy of keeping because we obviously know Ja'marr is the better of the two.
@briangregoire_bmu
@briangregoire_bmu 2 месяца назад
@@rabidcanineJa’Marr is one of the best receivers in the NFL so Tee Higgins is definitely the second best receiver on the Bengals. However Higgins only played 12 games last year because of injuries and had two consecutive 1,000 yard seasons before that. He’s a valuable asset and he’s proven that. It’s just up to the Bengals and what direction they want to go in 2025.
@rabidcanine
@rabidcanine 2 месяца назад
@@briangregoire_bmu I did say "injured again." Tee was the most productive receiver in the NFL for the weeks Ja'marr was out two seasons ago so I'm well aware of what he's capable of and what value he adds to the team when he's healthy. I'm also well aware of the injury and I've heard about fifty different outlets talk about "The Tee Higgins situation" so I don't think it needs to be addressed any more.

Pitcher has Been with the team for yrs and knows the players strengths and weaknesses so I don’t see any learning process.
@TheErawithBrianGregoire
@TheErawithBrianGregoire 2 месяца назад
Trust me, I remember the Chris Jones situation last year. Holdouts have become a norm in the NFL but just because it’s a norm doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have an impact on an organization and a locker room. The Bengals and Tee Higgins have been a great pairing and the Bengals would not want to see the relationship end but business is business. And as far as what you mentioned about Dan Pitcher being with the organization for years, I said that he has the potential to be a very good coordinator. However, just because he has experience with the organization doesn’t guarantee success. Brian Johnson had been with the Eagles for years and was fired after one year as an OC. It’s just a talking point to address going into a season, coordinator changes matter and can have an impact.

@@TheErawithBrianGregoire I can’t speak to the eagles process but with the bengals zac Taylor is the play caller so ibdobt know how switching out offensive coordinators truly changes the game to game operations. If the bengals struggle I think defensively will be more the cause they have young corners and lost Dj reader
