The free spirit rods are truly amazing,I have the 10ft carp and it seems to have a second gear kick in with large carp. The finish is exquisite.ill be buying more very soon
My response to this type of question is go for whatever fits your budget, can do what you want it to, and feels right in your hands. For me up to now, that's been a John Wilson Avon/Quiver for heavier float and feeder/bomb work, and a Shakespeare Duo Gold Match 13ft float rod for lighter float and stick fishing.
I've got the 9ft marvelist brilliant rod. Mainly use my 7ft free spirit ctx for commercial work as most islands are a short chuck where i fish. Use the nytro when it's a little further and agree they're brilliant rods as well. No weight to them and great power when needed.
I’ve used the drennan 10ft puddle chucker for years never had any problems catching fish from 8oz to double figures, one test is to try the blind fold test get different rods and see who can tell you which is the best you be very surprised
good, could you advise a feeder rod, length up to approx. 366 for carp with a decent length, random, up to €200 in case of 1 top and more, thank you for the answer
