We FINALLY got our hands on a Bambu P1S to take a look at and are in love! This week, Camera Man Beau makes his first ever video appearance, to tell you all about how his new Bambu P1S is treating him! Let's take a look and help support him while he shares his thoughts on the Bambu Lab P1S. The P1S is a fully enclosed, core xy 3d printer which uses the same platform as the Bambu X1C, just stripped down to reduce the cost and make it more accessible cost wise. Whether you're printing Pokemon, print in place models, or want to help your friend print a Voron, the P1S is probably the printer for you!

The BEST Beginner 3D Printer right now is The Flashforge Adventurer 5M at $299 , It is almost the exact same thing as a Bambu P1P and it has a Color screen. Works PERFECTLY without tweaking it and it actually will run in 15 minutes out of the box perfectly

My husband and I just bought the P1S, so I was looking for some beginner guidance and came across this. I am someone who feels a lot of guilt when spending money but also I believe in paying a little more to make sure I get the best product for me. This makes me feel so much better about our choice to wait and save for this one rather than just buying a $150 one on Amazon. I hope to print a lot of “nerdy” trinkets so seeing yours makes me so happy!

Great review, thanks. I'm considering the P1s for some ASA/ABS prints. As for the cloud, you can go into "LAN only" mode. You won't be able to use the bambu handy app, but you'll still be able to send prints form your PC with bambu studio/orca slicer as long as the printer is on the same network. Since I got my A1 Mini, it's changed the way I look at 3d printing too. My previous printer for the past 5 years was a heavily modified ender 3 pro. It printed ok, but required a good amount of tinkering and setup to get good results. With the bambu, it's just set the slicer settings and print away.

I saw the option for LAN only but did not know I could still send prints. So thanks for that! And yeah that’s why I love the printers so much. Being able to just hit print and walk away then come back to a print bed of quality parts is amazing. Thanks for the feedback and the helpful advice!

If BL servers go down, just put the printer in LAN mode and use your local network to send prints to the printer

Honestly I don't think your "grips" or "complaints" are deal breakers for this machine. I will be getting this one in the future. I just want a printer I can hit print on and not mess with. No time to playing with machines. It should just print.

Thanks for a good video. It seems the P1S is a good machine, yet in order to say "go and buy it" depends on comparison to other machines in the market. So I miss such a comparison. For example to Prusa MK4. One missing parameter is maintenance, because things happen. I find this a crucial factor, because sooner or later there will be a non intuitive problem. Prusa has a 24/7 char support. Does Bambu?

can the AMS print harder tup's? I want to print key rings and bag tags for my sons school groups. I want them to be very durable, so harder tpu would be ideal. Any advice?

I ordered the carbon. I had a Prusa MK3S+, upgraded from the first MK3, and it works but it is a ton of work to get it to print well. I can't fault the company, they're great, but I just want to print things, not tweak hardware, so I'm going to try bambu. I knew at some point it had to get easy and when companies like Anker started getting into it I knew it was right around the corner.

This printer is amazing. Got mine a week ago and I love it. It does everything for you. Heat settings, supports etc.. only thing I’m trying to figure out is how do I get a stl file from my pc to print from the sd card and not use WiFi or Bluetooth? I tried inserting the sc card in my pc and just copy and paste the stl file then inserting the sd card into my printer but when I open the sd card on the printer screen there is no stl file. Any advise or help will be appreciated.

I would like to buy a P1S combo but i need more info please. When you order it with the AMS does it come with 4 colors? Do you choose your colors? Do they work best in a particular order like, left to right: Red, white, blue, green? or right to left Green, blue, white, red? Does it come with a PEI plate? Or just order another one? Does it come with a Bambu hot-end or just buy an extra one? Love your video.

You do get some filament with it if you buy the combo. Not certain of colors, but you don't get 4. One cool thing you get is support material. No choice of included colors. If you go to the product listing page on their site, they show you a detailed list of what's in the box. I think the current plate they're shipping with is the PEI plate. Best to reach out to their support for specifics if you're curious. It doesn't matter in which slot you put which color. There's a great spares kit included.

the only thing i wish the bambu p1s had is lidar but you can get lidar on the x1 that the only big diff between the two

My son and I just got our first printer which is the p1s. It’s prints the files that are built in but I can’t for the life of me get it to connect to Bambu handy with my phone. Any help is appreciated. My WiFi does show up on the screen but it won’t fully bind.

@@remthompson I believe that it’s 2.4, I can get the WiFi name and ip to pop up on the machine but the app won’t bind. I have xfinity WiFi. I tried to find the option to turn off ap isolation but it doesn’t seem to want to let me.

I want to buy an A1. Is there any known health hazard from the filaments miro particles going to your lungs and getting you sick?. I want to start 3d printer with my 3y old son that is very sensitive to particles in the air, allergies, chemical fumes and chemical vapors. i hope you have any comments. thanks!d
