Morel Mushrooms are the one of the best bites on the planet, period. Certainly the best plant based food i've found in my lifetime. These morel mushrooms have a unique, one of a kind, flavor filled with earthy, meaty, umami addictiveness. They only come around once a year, and where I live can only be foraged. You can't buy these fresh in the grocery store, so it's an amazing treat every year when my father in law drops off boxes of more mushrooms he has hunted and foraged in the woods.
