Normally carpets used on Bass boats are pretty durable. We recommend that you prespray with Prochem Ultrapac Extreme, then rinse with All Fiber Rinse (powder), using either a truckmounted or portable carpet cleaning extraction machine. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Does unleashed work if it is not extracted, or will the nitrogen rich food sources for the bacteria still be there after it completely dries.

Response from Pat: "Unleashed will consume all of the nitrogen rich components and convert them into a water soluble solution that needs to be flushed/rinsed and extracted . The problem with not flushing/rinsing and extracting is wicking. The now water soluble components of the urine are still there and will rise to the surface in the wicking or drying process, so they must be rinsed out of the carpet." Hope that helps!

Response from Pat: When it comes to auto detailing I would stay with Ultrapac Trafficlean for the carpeted areas as it is geared towards the petroleum based soils found on our shoes and rinse with All Fiber Rinse For the cloth upholstery I recommended Prochem Upholstery Prespray as it is geared more towards the body oils and soils often found on upholstery and of course rinse with All Fiber Rinse.

Whats your opinion on Power Burst instead of Ultrapac Extreme?

These are two completely different technologies: Power Burst is developed with the best premium enzymes designed for food and grease type soils. Ultrapac Extreme is also effective on these types of soils but will also seek out and sequester oily soils where Power Burst would not be as effective. Leaving a product like Un-Duz-It Unleashed on and in the carpet without extracting the solution will keep the carpet wet for a longer period of time which can cause the backing construction to delaminate or separate. The biggest issue with not flushing and rinsing in the urine removal process is that all of the nitrogen-rich components that you just tried to make more soluble in water are still sitting there and will cause wicking or the areas to turn brown as it dries. Without rinsing and flushing, the urine is basically still there, unfortunately.

Power Burst is still the perfect choice for carpets laden with protein-based soils, such as those found in restaurants and food service areas. So it's more of a special-purpose product - that's why it didn't make the list in the video.
