FINALLY SOMEONE thinks the same about this watch. This watch is the greatest watch ever made for me. It is so amazing, I felt in love with it ever since I put it on... Other more expensive watches come and go but this one stays. I even bought few of them. Great tip on this boiling strap to fit, also it takes about 1-2 months of everyday wear to make straps fit your wrists. I waited for it and it happend already twice. So it will adapt to your hand. It is also worth saying: This watch is not guaranteed to be water resistant (more than splash 30m) but I've been few times swimming with it in the pool, and it is fine. There is also footage of people diving with it and even pushing buttons under water. Casio will not give you a guarantee that it will last, but 99% of a time those watches are ok with swimming. That is another amazing thing. I'm more of an office/home office dude, work as a programmer. This watch has given me so much joy... I even enjoy some hours when I can just look at the time and read it. I use hourly chime for breaks... I hope they will never get out of stock. (Or by that time I will have like 10 of them :D )

Got an f91w 3 weeks ago. In love with it ever since. The micro light doesn't bother me as I think it gets the job done when the light is needed, that is in the dark... So the common snobbing about the practical use of that micro light seems a bit off putting to me... Thank you so much for pointing that out... ❤🎉
Finally, an honest review about the light! I don't need to be blinded either when my eyes are completely adapted to the dark. Thanks for advice on fitting the band using boiling water.
I just boiled the band and just like you said, it's much more comfortable ... No longer squeezes my wrist on the sides like it used to, plus it stays more centered on the top of the wrist - Brilliant! Very happy with my daily driver, too. GUYS IT DOES NOT MATTER ABOUT THE BACKLIGHT, I'VE MODIFIED MY F91W AND PUT AN ILLUMINATOR IN IT AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT THEN TAKE IT TO A WATCH SHOP, IT'S THAT EASY.
The advice on boiling the strap was brilliant. Made all the difference in comfort! I have 25 watches, 23 g shocks, one seiko, and this little jewel f91w. It’s hard to imagine it is worn more than anything I have lol.

Dude, I love your watch videos, I really hope you can make more some day. Your reviews seem very honest and from the heart, you won't say something is good just because other people said it is good. I also like your enthusiasm, there aren't a lot of videos that show this sort of love for basic Casio watches. I think a lot of watch people may not understand why an F91W feels so good to wear, but like you said in the video; it is an amazing watch because this watch feels like a perfect reflection of who we are. Someone who needs to do work with their hands, get dirty, wears old shirts and hoodies, etc. Hope you are doing well!

Fun video! I like your comparison between watches and cars. For me that Steeldive is more of a Dodge Ram pickup with a Cummins Turbo Diesel (more truck than any reasonable person would ever need) and, even before you said it, I thought about the F-91W as a Golf, but for me a 1980's base model Golf (with headlights that are too poor for night driving). I prefer the Skmei 1412 for all the same reasons you like the Casio, except that I like to be able to read the time in the dark. Keep those provocative videos coming!
I think the F91-W is a classic, and as long as you've made peace with the backlight, you can't beat it for basic functionality. When I bought my first Casio, I wanted a brighter light, so I went for something from the Illuminator line, but if the F91-W fits your needs, that's great. :)

This video has made me look online, there are some in stock at a shop locally, im off now to buy one. But the gold one you showed in another video. i am wearing a g shock right now but for so little money it is no problem to have two casios
The Casio F-91W is a lovely little watch for all occasions. It goes well with a business suit, you can wear it in a restaurant, in your free time... but it's not suitable for swimming and diving. but otherwise for EVERYTHING. 😉👍
Agreed. Some say it looks silly but I don't care - I think it looks cool - and it's super comfortable anyway. There's even a sub on reddit "f91w on Nato". Really fun to look at.
Have you tried the Casio F105W? It has almost the exact same body as the F91W, but it has a tremendous Illuminator light. The blue on the watch face is much more muted in person vs. online and the cream colored accents give it a real nice retro vibe.
I have used many watches, from all kinds of brands and i can confirm that the F-91W is just perfect. It's so hard to not love this watch, because it does what it's supposed to do so well and better than any existing watch on the market for the lowest price.
F91 - is a pearl of the watches. It's not a wonder, that is the most sold watch in the world. By the way, look at the A700, it's namely an more elegant brother of the F91.

Nice watch, I like that it is so slim but its diameter is a bit too small for my taste. The W-59 is even better: almost the same style but with better water resistance and the same price. W-217 is also nice and it has a bit larger size with similar style. Unfortunately it seems to be out of stock at all the local shops that I can access.

I have one and long time ago i had a few. While the new production have slightly minor differences (green night light instead of amber and also lousier strap quality compared to the old ones), I wish casio can just upgrade it to a little better cos i believe it cost them next to nothing. Redesign the LED light to face the LCD, and also to add a full calendar. Or just at least improve the night light. I am one of the rare people who actually uses the night light function on my watch, if available.
It's one of the most iconic Casio watches but it's definitely not the best. For about five bucks more you can get one that looks almost the same and has a vastly superior backlight that is electroluminescent instead of a crappy little bulb on the side of the screen

@@TomasWatchReviews Have you seen one in person? The blue is more of a muted navy, it looks really nice. I didn't like it either when I saw pictures online, but it looks different in person and isn't a loud blue at all.
casio f92w These are really not good watches..the back light is virtually useless and the water proofing is negligible. & the strap will break long before the battery runs low. Time keeping is not very good for a modern watch...For a little more you can get a similar small watch with better everything.
