I use Snowhunter and a Cimmerian beserker fully kitted out with Cimmerian heavy armor and two-handed Starmetal greatswords. They handle tons of damage without dying, and I farm worlbosses for keys and dungeons for locked chests with them. Have several others at my home base to discourage attacks on my holdings. I look foreward to learning about ranged thralls, because i've never used them.

Actually those last fighters DID surprise me quite a bit, they are actually a soft spot for me because I used a Noss the Murderer in my playthrough the first time when I found him. He survived a few purges too, and I was very happy with that. I like having numerous different thralls to play with, and while I prefer pets (A personal preference), I do like SOME thralls. So thanks for highlighting some early game, easily obtainable thralls!
The Cimmerian Berzerker, Dalinsia, and Lianeele are still the gold standard for combat thralls. Lianeele is more combat support, but her kill times aren't much different than Dalinsia. I still use Cannibals for defense, since they level fast, aren't hard to get, and are (relatively) easy to replace. All this lot are available in the Savage Wilds, so no worries there.
I used to run down Dalinsias and Berserkers. Then in Age of Sorcery it was all RHTS. Now it will stay T4 bearers. I just need them to do debuffs like sunder while i use my killing skills. Bearers are perfect for my needs as an active Agility fighter. They irritate taking aggro and thus with the Highest HP and armor possible in a follower they soak up hits. Making shields not necessary which for me as a nomadic no build/crafting player to save on weight. Also movable storage is the best thing a follower offers in my opinion. You can stop stop command and teleport them to you from anywhere in the map. Meaning they don't need to fight. They need to haul! I'd also take any dancer at base camp for the anti-corruption. Lianelee is always a pleasure to get ;)
Good picks. I just started a new play through and had Enrika with me and right after I got her to max level she got swarmed by the dogs of the dessert and killed off. Much sadness followed as well as much blood as I made sure every last one of them lay bloody and broken before my fury! But now I'm working on maxing out my authority and going after a pair of Cimmerian Berserkers that will be named Kutchek and Gore in honor of the barbarian brothers where no force in the exile lands can stand up to us! Unless they get glitched inside a wall somewhere and hacked to pieces...
While not best in slot, my favorite followers are the named Blackhand fighters. I just love the blackhand dialogue package, they get decent health per tick in vitality. Not to mention Onis the Quite Angry, while not having a static appearance, has always had a decently high chance to roll as a blonde. Noice.
Why everybody talk about Cimmerian thralls for their vitality and not the Nordheimerdian ones for the strenght as a good fighter thrall? A good Lian at lvl 20 can have like 55 or over strenght and like 4k HP.
@Wak4863 That last group of Thralls can spawn at Arno's Prospect in the North West of the Isle of Siptah. I have a small recruitment center just outside the area for some relatively easy and fast T4 Thralls :)
Janos and lean may not have higher damage multiplier, but maybe more strength earned overtime? They used to be decent for a reason but not anymore compared to all these thralls in the video
Wak is kicking off 2024 with a brand new video. I'm quessing Dalinsia is ny favorite thrall. I wasn't using fighter thralls at all untill when Dalinsia was beeing sold by Khitanis. So I quess I kinda connectee with her. I used tobe running arround only with bearer. But when they added option to run with 2 thralls... I prefer now running with 1 fighter and 1 bearer. I couldn't belive how fast fighters were draining enemy HP.
@@shadeemusic_ Gone. If you want Dalinsia try doing Purge lvl VIII and above because in Chapter IV of Age of War higher level Purges will bring exploding heads golems and meteor shower upon your Purge base
great vid, very much looking forward to archer list ,as MANY thralls classified as archer starts with high strength ,no Agi and high strength growth chance .
I always had a problem to choose between cimerian berserker and dalinsia because dalinsia have only 4% chance to spawn on the map and the cimerian berserker is just guarantee.
I've got both Deirdre Deathbringer and Cira the Mad on Siptah plus Colvric the Blade and a couple Aesir Warriors that I got from surges of the north I believe. Oh and Happy New Year!🥳Oh and Dalinsia is my favorite thrall because She was the first T4 that I ever got.
My favs have always been Snowhunter and Berserkers. Are Aesir Berserkers (not Warriors) modifiers the same as Cimmerian/Accursed? If so, kinda defeats the purpose of getting them now. When Siptah first launched, they had around 4k at 0.
stormsick warriors are so easy to get, you can literally get an entire base full of them quite early in the game... though it can get really dangerous if you're not careful cause they come in groups
Due to the changes to the purge on exiled lands one of my favorite thralls beast tamer ulfarn is no longer obtainable. He had very good HP with around 6200 or so at lvl 20. rip to the og.
I picked up Umbra the Slayer on Siptah (Stygian Invaders) and have been shocked at her performance. She's an Agility fighter so I gave her a Blade of the Minstrel and can basically let her go HAM. With proper armor and food, she tank damn near anything and give better than she gets... PSA
favorite thralls: Dalinsia Snow Hunter: Body guard/boss hunter Cimmerian Berserker: base guarding/ unleveled fighting Lian: good str stats out the wheel/ boss hunting T3/t4 bearer: give em arrows and a debuff weapon and watch them piss off your enemies. Lianelee: A dancing dalinsia if leveled correctly. Probably best to have a t4 bearer and a Lianelee following you
@@scruffygaming627 smart. im trying to find a weapon that can harm both players and undead. for now the shank from undead city is they best. Bleed for fleshy enemies (players etc..) and cripple for the undead.
@@scruffygaming627 the wightblade? damn..i use to hate that sword. Which weapons have gouging? i got 7 keys and a dalinsia. I want that legendary one handed agility sword too (im agility build).
I was able to get the Aesir Warrior, Colvric the Blade, and the Warrior of Jhebbal Sag from Surges on the Isle of Siptah. Not from purges. Granted that was shortly after its release, so I don't know if they had been changed to purge only since then. But if not, there's hope for getting them from surges. I've actually never seen any of them in any of the old purges, so I'm pretty sure they're from surges, not purges.
Ever since FireSpark said he primarily use Relic Hunter Treasure Seekers years ago that is what I've always used as soon as I could reliably get them because they were basically the same as Spinas who was regarded as the best thrall but I didn't have to hunt the volcano for one the RHTS are always in the same spot in several locations. After years of changes they are now long top dog but they are still good, so I kinda still default to them after Ana the Reaver and Tessa the Blade, those are always my first two thralls I use to get shit started and while I have yet to even launch the game for Ch.3, those T4 beach thralls have always served me well and once in epic heavy with a good weapon can still take a beating for what they are. I am curious though as to what the melee and ranged multiplier is for the melee and archer variants of the RHTS.
A good tip, Level up some bears, especially greater bears. the HP pool really helps during a purge defense. since i started doing this it has significantly reduced my Thrall losses. I used to lose 5 - 7 level 15+ thralls in a tier 8+ purge defense. adding 4 or 5 bears reduced it to 2 - 3. Although after you get your bartender there is absolutely no reason to do Purges as the rewards do not begin to offset losing 2 - 3 high level Thralls.
Me and the lads, just make a small murder maze that ends in a killzone in front of the treasury room. Since the breacher enemies can 1 tap a door, we just put a small series of doors in the way along the route. Most of our thrall concerns are with Archers, while melee is handled by mass Suicide Golems, Normal Golems, and Zombies. If we have thralls in the pit, we give them Gas Masks, so they won't die when we start shooting gas arrows into the grinder.
Did a tire 8 purge yesteday and i don't think we lost any thralls, we had like 6x lvl 20 CBs with good gear and they smash everything with some added support from players and pleb archers.
Lian, because of his extremely consistent mace combos, despite his mere 1.8x melee modifier. Janos, while having the same stats, does not possess the same mace combo consistency.
That's weird, I would guess that the combo consistency is irrelevant of the base thrall. I though this is just an AI issue which would be the same across all thralls and human enemies.
Happy New year, yea I hate that fact the Exile Land beast tamers (cimmerian purge fighters) do not have the same stats as their accursed siptah copies.

Vs the arena champion, Agility warriors are the most useful because they can use the blade of the seven winds the best against her 97% damage mitigation
Ive always had a soft spot for those T4 Exile thralls. Even if they were weaker then almost all other thralls, i always felt more connected with them in a roleplay sense, since they were the first you could find. Even today ill use mods to make them more tanky and survivable, and now that they are good melee fighters they arw mainstays in my roster.
That 3.0 multiplier biz was a mistake on funcom's part so they fixed it and also the exiles tier 4 thralls multipliers was also a mistake. I feel like they are going to fix that as well.
I always use Cimmerian berzerker to denfend my base and Dalinsia to protect me in fights, also a T4 bearer is great for fight and farm at the same time. At the end I like beast master more, but with the new update I don't know how to get them, What I do is I trying to get 2 Dalinsia, and once I got them I drop em on the ground and give myself a Beast master from admin panel
i dont know what im doing wrong. but when im placing a freshly cannibal brute they have 429 HP. an naked lvl 16 one just have 2158 HP so even then far away from your 2549.
Out of any thrall in the game, Ana the Reaver is and always will be my favorite.. I started playing Conan right when the Age of Sorcery started and Ana was my first real fighter and I made a corrupted authority build and Ana soloed the whole ass game for me while I walked behind and collected all the loot..
Ana was the last thrall standing when one of my bases was purged by a level ten. The base was totally destroyed except for one foundation block and Ana had 12 HP left when I finally got there. Lost a lot with that base.
My favorite is Dalinsia, that thrall has saved my backside on more than one server I have played on LOL Does she compare to just about any of the modded thralls (AoC, EEWA or EA)? No but she is a good, solid vanilla thrall that is reliable once you find her. I usually go for a Berserker, Dalinsia or, in rare cases, Lian.

I'm wondering whether the boosted stat purge fighters (Purge Dalinsia etc) can be obtained anymore like from the cages, or whether world NPCs are the only ones in the pool
@@wak4863 Hey Wak the last time I looked at the Age of War thrall stat sheet they had different stats and I confirmed by placing some after a purge and they started at more HP (this was during Chapter 1). 250-400hp more at level 0 if I remember correctly. They have always had boosted stats, whether this has been nerfed or changed in Chapter 3 I'm not sure
I'm a few videos behind, what happened to the guys with the 3.119 Damage Multipliers? Like Cannibal Brute and Ritualist? They get the nerf bat or just have such low HP that its not worth the glass cannon?
I don’t even bother with thralls anymore, they’re too weak, even the strongest, and they get killed easy. You pretty much have to babysit them now. I just do everything solo
Its bothered me forever and continues to do so that the named volcano fighters are always slightly worse than much easier to attain thralls ( zerkers, rhts previously etc ) so lame.
People who cry about combat changes are just bad players in any game not just Conan Exiles. The entirety of the game and its absolute concept is based on survival and part of survival is ADAPTATION. You spoiled lads and spoiled ladies are crying over nothing like roll jab? When your skill level is fixed to a cheese method or you are addicted to being lazy of course you dont like it when things change but if you just got good at the actual combat and lets be honest if you have a frontal lobe that should be possible you wouldn't struggld at all. You just expose yourselves as players that rely on a childs method to get things done or carry you. Me and my wife both have over 1300 hours into conan and my kids play on our private server and even they can deal with the changes. Go play Dark Soul titles or their like and try using your methods there because chances are good you will realise spamming 1 move might not be an absolute when it comes to ANY form of combat. Instead of whinning about who took your playdough factory knife go sharpen the 1 thing no developer can take from you and ill give you a hint it ends with "TATION" because when you sharpen the best tool in your arsenal and it affects absolutely everything you will soon realise the only thing holding you back was your ineptitude or refusal to put in some actual work. Great videos btw me and the wife have got alot of good information and guidence from you Im going to sub today and I wish you further luck as you have legitimately helped my family enjoy this game for a long time and frankly answered many things other channels just dont bother to cover. 🤝
I was excited to play this game again because I used to play this so much and loved it but it's like it's almost completely unplayable now. The game lags so much even when playing solo-offline mode. I feel like I reinstalled the game for nothing. Hoping the game gets fixed because it's a really great game when it works.
What exactly is the pve problem with the new combat changes? I know the stamina changes have made pvp garbage because of a few weapons, but I started playing again lately and all I've noticed is its harder to strafe around enemies but why is that so bad?
@@user-hl4eu6ww7e Yeah, they just need to overhaul the perk system because there's just so much overpowered things in there. I just wish they didn't get rid of goomba stomping people so I could still punish people who keep roll spamming.
