Zeebins If it had a better C-stick, select button, left bumper, and a good d-pad then it would totally be on top. As it of now it just stands as a solid controller.
Most of the features of these 100+ controllers can be found by just practicing on a normal controller. There are niche controllers for people with various disabilities that are over 100 dollars. Thing is, that's a case where spending that much is completely justified. The NES had a handsfree controller that worked with the mouth. It wasn't cheap. Thing wasn't even retailing for 150 dollars, though.

Also, with no lack of third party alternatives nowadays I doubt it's that hard to find amazing controllers. That would have been a much more interesting video than the ones we all already know.
One small thing you skipped over with the design lab controller is the fact that there is a grip option that is kind of similar to the skuff one with the rubber and texture
Same here I'm in Baltimore granted it'll be second hand but I see them everyday for $140-$170 that's why I find hilarious when people want $150 for a PS3 with just the cords and controller xD
Niall HD i saw an offer the other day; xbox one s with battelfield 1 for 199.- (in switzerland not the US ) theyre dirt cheap these days. the dualshock 3 controller cost 70 bucks here, so 3 dualshock 3 controllers costs more than the xbox one s with a game xD
Logan Blocker Kinda. The Xbox 360 was way better then the PS3. The PS4 was better then the Xbox one. But the PS4 Pro is basically the next gen console which is going up against the Scorpio. The Scorpio kicks the PS4 Pros ass. So it's actually kinda tied on console.
That's cool but I'm done with the elite series you don't need one and I hade used mine for two years before it kicked the bucket and anyway if you're smart you can reconfigure you controls to be just as good
I think it’s based on opinion whether you like PS4 or Xbox. For me I have large hands which meant I went with Xbox. That’s my opinion I respect PS4, but I personally don’t like the controller. Prob my favourite there is the elite if you didn’t have to replace the thumb sticks every 10 seconds. But I like it because when your play FPS games like COD or fortnite, there’s a customisable option so that you don’t have to press down as much onto the left or right triggers, giving u that slightly quicker edge. That’s my opinion please like if u agree, if u disagree that’s fine :)
The best one ever is Wii U Pro controller! (80 hours battery, light, smooth and symmetrical joy sticks, correct ABXY order... Perfect for casual/normal usage. Maybe not the best for insane...)

7:40 really? on my computer, i just downloaded an xbox one controller driver, and the ps4 controller worked because it is mimicing an xbox one controller.
Fufu He said "natively." You're fooling the computer into thinking you're using an Xbox controller when you're really not, that's not native. Native would be having support for PS4/PS3 (IDK about PS2 haven't tried that) controllers.
chargersfan1111 you can get a wired one that doesn't need bateries. i recommend the Spectre Xbox One controller. I've had it for over a year and it still works beautifully with no batteries :)
Options. AA offer longer hours then rechargeable and you can then swap those for a Play and Charge kit or even go the expensive option and get high quality rechargeable batteries and have a couple of those to swap between. Better then having your controller charged for a couple hours and then needing to plug it in all the time.
I prefer the PS4 controller but yet even I agree with burns0100 on that. the AA battery is a better solution because you can charge them while playing and they are cheaper.
Mustafa Mirza it's for console games but not for pc because many games does not support any dualshock controllers Ex- Watch Dogs,GTA5 u have to use xbox controller emulator for that.
noooooo, i know what hes talking about, its the strikepack fps dominator. it clips onto the back of the controller and makes it into a scuf but with rapidfire, antirecoil, autorun, etc.. i got one for my xbox but liked it so much i got one for the ps4 as well. its great
The FPS Dominator is great, I use it for Bo3 or infinate warfare, it made me way better at cod, I used to use the L2 and R2, and I had to play bumper jumper button layout, so I had to jump with L1. Now I use the left paddle to jump, And I use L1 and R1 to shoot now and it is way more fun and made me way better at cod.
There are no bad controllers anymore , xbox elite controller or ps4 ds4 are all relax controllers i have them all i love them all. A generation ago i irritated me the xbox360 controller i buy a lot later the razor xbox360 controller that was a good controller for me the 360 controller was like rauma for me. I played 1 hour and my hands going to a rauma stand i was lucky that my sister buy the xbox360 controller for me.
Regular Xbox One controller with the Brook wireless adapter comes out to about 100 dollars. This I would say is the best deal for controllers because it works with ps4, and Switch.
I meant the proper way by actually taking the shells off and spray painting those. Actually I wouldn't mind if the controllers were sticky because then it would give me another argument for The PC Masterace
The actual buttons you cant really paint. I'd rather pay the extra 20$ for the design labs one and it will be done right. Spray paint isnt cheap either.

Xbox one controllers are really comfortable and it is pretty cool that you are able to give them a custom paint job I showed my friend who is a PlayStation owner the Xbox design lab and he was jealous

But when it comes to the features and stuff, the elite controller is definitely the best to me. And it will cost a lot more to change the colors and stuff?🤣
When you start mapping the Xbox Elite controllers buttons, paddles and sticks you’ll realize why it’s the best. You can get rid of dead zones completly. You can customize the sticks to be more agressive or smooth. You cant do that with any of the other controllers

The DualShock 4 is natively supported in Windows, just not as an XInput controller. The DualShock 4 is recognized natively as a DirectInput controller for Windows, so you don't necessarily need third party wrappers/applications for Windows to recognize the DS4, because it already shows up as a controller under devices. Steam has a built-in XInput wrapper for the DS4 if you want to use the DS4 with XInput controller only games.

Why would you limit your hardware to an xbox one? On a pc you get great hardware, can use any controller, and aren't limited to overpriced garbage. There are a lot of nice looking exclusives but those could be on pc if people just stopped supporting exclusives. It's not like developers are spending time optimizing their games, the last guardian runs like shit, as does bloodborne and destiny.

The Xbox 360 controller is the absolute best of all time. It's an ergonomic masterpiece and by extension, the xbone controller because it doesn't change the basic formula.

I seem to be the only one that prefers regular AA batteries... Imagine you were playing a game, and your controller ran out of battery from the rechargeable battery. You would have to wait hours before you can play again!
