2023 was such an amazing year for games that I actually wanted to talk about a few of them before moving on to 2024. Like what I do? Support me directly on Patreon! www.patreon.com/scionvyse
You have earned a new sub my guy! I watched the first two Mario & Luigi retrospectives and I just find your way of doing videos so clear and concise. I can throw it on in the background and just have 30-60 mins of awesome information to listen to. Keep it up man!
I honestly think Future Redeemed was my favourite game of the year, so I'm glad to see it here. Xenoblade 3 was not only my favourite game of last year, but dethroned Xenoblade 1 as my favourite game of all time, so More XC3 had a free ticket to the top. Incredible finale to the Klaus saga, I'm so excited to see what Monolith Soft cooks up next.
Great video, never saw coverage of Lies of P but its on my radar now. Disappointed not to see Pikmin 4 here though, it pretty easily wormed its way into my top 10 of all time list.
Yeah, I would. The second game follows up directly after the end of the first one, and to really understand what's going on, and why it's important, you need the context of the first game. You don't necessarily need to 100% the game, nor play the expansion, but at least beat the base game. (I would recommend The Road to Gehenna though, it's the best Talos Principle content out there, both in terms of narrative and puzzles)
