Caramel butter popcorn, chocolate covered strawberries. Salad and mixed veggies drowned in dressing. Got it. Thank you so much for this. Im gonna start this right away
A meal I like to do is lentil soup with chicken breast. High protein, relatively low calorie, and very filling. Update: I've dropped all the way down to a healthy weight range. I've been on my first bulk making some great gains!
Add some grilled chicken breast to that salad and replace that lettuce with spinach and/or arugula! Also add some nuts, seeds, avocado, and those strawberries or blueberries 🤤 top with EVOO and balsamic vinegar and that’s a very filling combo for fat loss! Been eating that salad everyday for supper for almost a year now and It’s so satisfying and nutritious 😊👍 I hit my goal weight a long time ago eating this way. I also have other foods of course, but this one hits the spot for nutrition!
Popcorn is high volume but not very filling. Even if you get a low cal version, you get like 200 cals worth of popcorn for like 60 grams of food. 60 grams of food isn’t too filling. For example, you could eat like 340 grams of Greek yogurt for the same calories… that’s just under 6 times as much food
not exactly how it works, if you pair the greek yogurt with perhaps some red or blue berries even straw berries sure, but you also have to realise that most people don't have the stomach to eat that much greek yogurt especially paired with fruits. If you're one of them lucky you sure go for it, gives you plenty of protein as well.
The popcorn here is a snack option. It’s a between meals so it’s not supposed to be filling, just get you to the next meal. It’s a good option compared to other snacks that people might usually go with.
I love a bit of Greek Yoghurt, ricotta, lemon curd and raspberries all mixed together after tea to satiate my nightly sweet tooth. Works a treat and is pretty filling! I’m 4”11 mind you, so probs won’t work for any tall peeps 😂
My doctor recommended avoiding all "melon" fruits as they contain large amounts of sugar, large the portion, bigger the amount of sugar, but does recommended all berries.
Popcorn used to be a go-to food for me years ago but needless to say since I become diabetic, popcorn being pure carbs Spike's my blood sugars and so is off to table.
If you don’t want the veg on the side of the pasta I like to put fresh peppers, tomatoes, courgette and grated carrots in the pasta and then broccoli on the side, best meal ever 😊
One thing I noticed with high volume eating it just makes you hungry… ALL THE TIME Changing to high fat, moderate protein truly made me start living and finding my nutritional freedom
@@treysmith3448 I’ve lost 80 pounds in the past 10 Months. I’m just stating that a single chicken breast won’t fill me up. Obviously 2 of them with sides are different from what the other guy said
@@nicolumens3311 I feel you it’s probably bc I used to be 280lbs with a very active lifestyle at 6’1 so u can only imagine how much I would have been eating 😂 but yeah now I’m 6’1 198lbs much easier
The problem with salads, is the dressing. Most people are not eating a plain salad, they drench it in ranch or other high calorie dressings and end up eating more calories and worse macros than if they just had a cheeseburger instead.
KWOOWK has a really nice salad dressing I like to use! It uses Greek Yogurt, Lime, Tahini, and Cilantro. I would look up his video if you'd like a more step by step guide. It's really tasty and I use it on salads and chicken often.
Hi Jonathan!. Which corn do you often buy in Spain?. I daily have my huge bowl of popcorn and the most calorie friendly corn I've come across so far is in Consum supermarkets (their own brand). Give it a try if you haven't yet.
It's cute that you tried to cover the popcorn bro we could see it from the start 😂 love your content bro it's helped a lot with preventing myself from snacking too much
The things that help me feel full are hummus with low calorie pita chips, and also rice cakes! Those two help a lot. Also eating Cheerios for breakfast helps a lot too!
thank you for important information! keep up with the good work! I have to have a set mind to stay in the calorie deficit! or it just doesn't work for me!
1 callorie means how much energy is needed to increase the temperature of 1kg of water with 1°C. Counting callories for weight loss is dumb. A callorie is energy and energy weighs nothing. The food you eat is mass and it's the mass that has a weight. The Law of Conservation of Mass dates from Antoine Lavoisier's 1789 discovery that mass is neither created nor destroyed in chemical reactions. In other words, the mass of any one element at the beginning of a reaction will equal the mass of that element at the end of the reaction. A perfect example: water has 0 callories. Drink 1l of water and weigh yourself, you will be 1kg heavier. Then pee out the water and again weigh yourself, you will be 1kg lighter. If you want to lose weight and keep it off you need to cut down on the carbs, sugar and vegetable/seed oils. Just keep it simple, keep insulin low and eat whole food: - Eliminate sugar - Eat till you're full - ↓Carbohydrate - Meat, veggies & fat - ↓Procesed food - ↑Healthy fat (tallow/lard/butter/ghee) The following ratios are ideal: 15% protein 80% fat 5% carbohydrates Daily you should also spend as many hours doing physical exersice/sports as you do sitting in front of the TV. For example: if you spent half an hour working outside in the garden you can spend half an hour in front of the TV, if you spent an hour riding your bike you can spend an hour in front of the TV, etc.
I prefer eating for satiety over volume (although satiety is a part of volume). Meat, legumes, and low calorie vegetables leaves me feeling full for hours. So naturally I'm making a lot of curry and just not eating it with rice.
I agree! It's healthy! But the portions are huge😮My Opinion: I think we have this misconception that we can eat more food because it's "Healthy" Even too much healthy foods can cause inflammation, bloating, that sluggish feeling, etc!! Whatever happened to watching our portions? 🥹 Have a Nice day 🤗
I think i just have too much stress and cortisol is screwing with my weight loss. For the last 3 months ive had the same food every day, protein yogurt for breakfast, lentil pasta with meatsauce for lunch, a grilled chicken breast with a spinach wrap for dinner and another yogurt before bed. Im 6ft tall 202lbs. Started at 210 months ago but ive stalled out. I have a lot of muscle and this is a MAJOR calorie cut for me. I was eating almost 3k per day and all these foods comboned put me at just over 2k. I thought the weight loss would be more noticeable. Oh well. Nothing to do but keep going.
Look into ashwaganda. It's a natural supplement that helps lower cortisol levels. It's also great at reducing inflammation. Make sure you speak with your doctor about it if you're taking other kinds of meds, though. I don't take anything except my daily vitamins, and when I start feeling really stressed out, I start taking it again. It really helps calm my mind.
You could do smart ones, healthy choices, lean cuisine and any of these sides. Add green tea as a second snack and shake with spinach and blueberries for lunch. Pick one everyday for dinner and a meal
Note: stay away from buttered popcorns, and look only for air popped popcorns. Caramel popcorn etc are also off limits. You probably should make your own but watch out how much oil/butter etc you use, those pack a lot of calories and fat And careful with how much salt is in it too it may cause water retention etc
Oof, the sad side salad with ice berg lettuce. If it's what you can afford, then do it. But darker greens like arugula & spinach would be good to throw in every once in a while
Popcorn is a diet snack, great I’ll get some butter. Salad is a great diet food, awesome I’ll bring the croutons and ranch dressing. Meat is very healthy and usually low calories, oh bet? I’ll use some butter to fry it up, butter as dressing, then I’ll have some butter to drink
hello! Jesus loves you so much:) He died on the cross for our sins and we are forgiven because of Him❤️ We can be made right with God because of Jesus! Our Lord is so good and kind!! Being a christian isnt just following a bunch of rules, but its getting to know God and the amazing things He’ll do for you! It may seem hard to live apart from the world and with God because everyone around you is following the “standard” but its so worth it walking with God! Hallelujah!! When I was at my lowest point in life, God literally saved me and brought me back up! I have bad days still, but I will always come back to God at the end of the day. Following Jesus truly is great, but God isnt forcing us, He gives us free will❤️🫶
I see salad as a filler food it’s essentially a filler episode during your meal and me personally I don’t mind filler since it keeps you entertained for longer just like how a salad keeps you fuller for longer with little to no calorie cost
Je suis très gourmande et j'adopte la même technique. Manger beaucoup de légumes, de salades (vinaigrette légère) et pop corn si j'ai envie de manger juste pour me faire plaisir. Quelques noix, noisettes comme snack, skyr en dessert.
Nice video, decent information. Everyone's complaints aren't your problem. The guy complaining about the speed at which you speak is a Mexican, and the people complaining about the food are scared of it because the human tongue doesn't like to be humbled. Your video is sound, there will always be haters. Keep going.
High fiber foods make you slow down in your eating, as you actually have to chew, and that fills you up faster. Processed food is so without fiber that you can toss it back without chewing, and you end up overeating.
i have a question. and please please reply back.... i have been dieting for 6 weeks now...my diet include salads and abit of protein(eggs). my salad includes cabbage, lettuce, carrot, cucumber, and some peppers..with onion and all. i workout 6x a week but i have only lost 1.4kg. what am i dong wrong? please help me
True, but you can get used to it. If it is late at night and I am watching a movie and my choices for snacks are nothing or some air popped popcorn (which I make with a microwave and a brown paper lunch sack), the popcorn starts sounding pretty good and tastes even better.
This is for people with huge apetite, the problem with volume food is that it will increase the size of the stomach and the person will need to eat even more…not productive in the long term.
