In this Hu Tao guide I'll be covering many of Hu Tao's teams, teams like Hu Tao with double hydro, funerational, Hu Tao melt and Hu Tao vaporize and much more. I'll be discussing their rotations and character substitutes for each and every Hu Tao team. Usually you use Hu Tao with just Xinqui and Zhongli but I go over many other teams that don't use just them.

She fits in that role well, but her dendro application isn't good enough for burgeon that's my only complain.

@@radphnxyou kinda did the rotation wrong with yaoyao tho you used hydro first when you need to use dendro first to get more seeds obviously it’s not gonna make her dendro application like nahida but if u use a rotation like the one u use you really not gonna enjoy it

Hi! I am new player and F2P and I am planning to run (Dendro MC use EQ) + (Xingqui use EQ) + (Yaoyao use E) + (Hu Tao use EQ). I am saving YaoYao's Q for special occasions only. What do you think? Thanks Mr. RU-vidr!

Hello! I'd really appreciate if you could reply to this. ^^ I used to main Lisa and recently decided to start building my Hu Tao and maining her. The most-used supports for her, that I have are Xingqiu, Sucrose, Xiangling, and Diona. (I lack Thoma, Yelan, and Zhongli.) I've also saved up enough starglitters for when Bennett comes back into the shop, and I'm also guaranteed for Kazuha when he comes. What would be the best team I could make out of the ones I have, or will acquire? Thanks in advance ♡

Hu Tao xinqui sucrose diona with the current characters you have, in the future you could use Hu tao xinqui sucrose/kazuha bennet. Sorry for the late reply..

In your opinion, what do you think is the strongest team out of the ones that you've displayed? I have enough primogems to get Yelan, but I'm not 100% sure if it would be the best to get her or not.

The strongest in my opinion is the double hydro team with Yelan, Xinqui and Zhongli, but you shouldn't be forced to pull for Yelan just because the team needs her. I too honestly have been considering pulling for Yelan but I don't think its a must, I've decided to build my Mona instead for Hu Tao. It depends on your account I guess, I already have Kokomi so Yelan isn't that needed for me.

@@radphnx I just got back into this game like 6 months ago and I have never pulled on the event banner until now (including when I first played this game years ago) because I wanted to save for hu tao. I basically have none of the characters that were listed besides hu tao, xingqiu, and xiangling. So I think it might be a good decision for me to get yelan. Not to mention that I also accidentally got Yelan's bow while I was rolling for staff of homa.

Oh then yea, going for Yelan wouldn't be a bad choice. She's a pretty good character and will be a good addition to your account, you could also use her in many new dendro bloom teams as well. Goodluck!!

Can you use kokomi for xingqiu in melt? i heard it can apply consistent hydro off field with the jellyfish and heal

I saw video about hutao best artifact. Gilded dreams seems a little better than Crimson. Do you still think about that? Is it better to farm Gilded instead Crimson to play hutao c1 + homa + double hydro? thanks bro, your videos helps me a lot.

Well I don't think gilded is better than crimson, yes the extra EM helps with the reaction damage but I think crimson is still better. Now that you can passively be farming crimson by using the strongbox, you should go for a crimson witch Hu Tao build while you're farming for other artifact sets. Again I think in my video I mentioned that gilded was more resin efficient being the main advantages but you can just use the strongbox instead.

Could yaoyao work as the 4th slot on the double hydro team? dont have bennet at c1 and dont own diona so not sure who i should put there. I do have a c5 layla tho

Layla would work but it would have both vape/melt reaction.

I have hu tao c1 homa xingqiu c6 Zhongli c0 sucrose c4 Bennett c5 thoma c0 Layla c0 kaeya c1 Xiangling c4 who would you recommend? I ussually do hu tao xingqiu zhongli and barbara (hydro resonance) because i dont have a last teammate

hmm, you have many options here. I think you should go Hu Tao Xinqiu Sucrose Bennet so swirling the Pyro using sucrose. Adding Zhongli could also be good if you're having trouble with the abyss floors.

Uh in that case could you like replace xinqiu and Yelan? Xinqiu is better than Yelan for Hutao because of the extra hydro application so maybe you could use Yelan for the other team.

Is Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Mona and Noelle a good team? How should i build them (minus Hu Tao she's fine for now) and what about Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Heizou and Xiangling?

The first team is pretty decent, the second team not so much, here you're trying to use Heizou just for the VV which I guess you can make it work but the hydro application wont be enough for both Xiangling and Hu Tao, you can use Sucrose here so you can swirl the hydro for some extra hydro application.

@@radphnx Thanks, i appreciate it! If i could i would have Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Yelan and Zhongli but as of now i can't, i hop ei can get the last two in the future. For now i have Mona for a double hydro and Noelle to shield and slightly heal in case her health gets toooo low

The best replacement would be replacing Diona for Sucrose so you can swirl the pyro from Bennet.

@@radphnx it makes sense, but I think if I changed the xiangling for bennet it would be better, because Bennet hills a lot, and I hardly use it, it almost doesn't help much

Oh I didn't even consider Nilou but yeah I think it'll work if you don't have Yelan and don't want to use Mona.

Not really, you already have Kokomi so you don't need Thoma's shields and usually you only use Thoma with Hu Tao so you can swirl the pryo, if you want to go double hydro with Kokomi you can go Bennet in Thoma's place.

C1 bennet is just better for all characters, the HP restriction can be really annoying and C1 is kinda really important.

Uh, depends on how you want to play the team. Nahida and TIghnari are not exactly the same.. nahida is used for the dendro application mainly but tighnari would be as a sort of secondary dps that comes on-field during hu tao's CD and vice versa, so yes you can use Tighnari though it'll drastically change the team.

@@radphnx Your ping is REALLY high in this showcase, and that is kind of an issue for a certain amount of teams that rely upon an accurate rotation due to the duration of some effects and the time it takes for the game to understand the character switch. But, of course, this is not a big deal and I just tried to make a simple joke about it. I like your videos very much. Congrats for the great job!

No it’s not recommended, both Childe and hu Tao and childe want to be on field and both require different supports to function, childe needs constant pyro where as Hu Tao needs constant hydro application. So it just doesn’t make sense to put them together.

Yes, you're just stacking a lot of boosts on Hu Tao: bennet's ult, kazuha's swirl, zhongli's res shred.. everything combined can just make Hu Tao dish a lot of damage.
