This was really entertaining tbh I think a video like this but maybe showing a couple races from a player from each rank (iron, iron 2, bronze 1 etc) could be really interesting

Btw I really enjoyed this video. If you can get any vods of lower ranked players and explain what they’re doing wrong that would be really awesome imo A lot of people (myself included) probably have a lot of bad decision making habits that aren’t super obvious

I think content like this is really important, and these types of videos especially are ones which I've wanted to see made for the longest time, so thank you for that. The western side of competitive MK has pretty much no explicitly educational content when it comes to lounge, so if these videos do well I think it would be a really great service to the community to expand on these, potentially even including entire events as well as races where things don't go well, even for the best players. Looking at the other comments I think it's really nice that you're expanding this content to other ranks too. If you're still trying to keep the more casual video approach (i.e. less scripting, more ad lib), a stream where you get viewers to submit singular races to a discord for you to analyse would be an interesting way to make an education stream without having to sit through 50 hours of lounge footage.

I think I played against this guy the other day in a World Wide lobby, I remember seeing his Mii and being like "this dude's mii kinda looks like the lead singer from Smash Mouth's All Star video" obviously looking at him now, not really.

Is it possible online to do the trick where you throw both your reds in very quick succession so that first place doesn’t have time to bring up their second defensive item? I see that a lot in offline races but not so much in online/lounge play. I guess they can always back one of them early… but they wouldn’t really be able to during a turn to begin with, or couldn’t even look back to know it and aim, if they need to drive precisely on certain tracks’ endings~ Would the red shells just break each other on their screen? (with an inconsistent timing based on geographical location, making it impossible or something?)

1:50 from my understanding this is mainly just for 150 right? With items being less reliable, blue outruns, shorter races, etc, from what I’ve experienced and watched of top players 1st seems like the best place on 200 (on most tracks)
