@@Xerion1 i believe i said what he lacks is stamina for longer tourneys that includes sets, he's a huge menace... as long as the match goes according to plan. that makes him quite inconsistent, he even twitted that he was feeling drained before GF started and when the reset occured his gameplay was not the same. The reason why players like Light, tweek, Leo, etc are in other level still is that they are very acostumed to play LONG sets on top of it, Once he builds upwhat he clearly lacks, he can play longer without his performance being hindered and then he'll be a true menace for top 10s

I personally really enjoy watching Sonix. He's able to switch from methodical to hyper aggressive instantly. Yeah, camping isn't the most fun thing to watch, but I'd take it any day over the thousandth identical 0-death from Kazuya. Plus I seriously respect his stamina in the longer matches where every hit matters. It's not a popular playstyle because it's meant to completely demoralize and break apart the opponent's mental game.

@@Jfoltz39 agree w u bro, but at the same time, nothing exciting about wasting time and avoiding a lot a lot your opponent, fighting games imo are more of an exchange, rather than just escaping, and i guess you can call "strategy" just avoiding and escaping
