That was indeed my first time to sing through it while playing guitar, but I had of course sang along to it on Spotify while listening in the car, in my room, etc!! But this was my first time to sit down and play it myself! I just read through the chords briefly beforehand, and decided to record it in case it was ok😂 I was reading the words and chords off my iPad in that video and I def almost missed the chord on ‘sunk your teeth into me’ lol. Would’ve loved to hear some technical critiques of my vocals though! You’re great!
the way he reacted to everyone so positively was so heartwarming. You can really tell Tristan (like me teehee) loves hearing people sing, all different voices and styles ugh it’s SO FUN. You’re so sweet and helpful Tristan!
Sadie Jean my god🤯🤯👏🔥! Her choices were ridiculously amazing! She has this shaky quiver at the end of her vibrato that she controls so well. She also had air that escaped throughout while at the same time still connected to her body and actually wasn’t breathy, but for style! I still can’t get over how crazy her melody changes were. They were subtle but sooo necessary! I’m a fan!
Just a side note since not all content creators do it. Thank you for crediting other creators when you use or react to their content. Thank you for a great compilation and meaningful insights on their techniques.
These people are so talented, I always forget that it's actually ok to try and sing songs slightly differently to the original artist as I taught myself by trying to copy them haha - I need to try switching some things up! Also love that you're doing lessons - I've put in my application so fingers crossed!!
Every one of these people is so incredibly talented! I love how positive you are w/ everyone, it’s just so nice and heartwarming to see. Also, I have a possible recommendation for you. There’s this musical currently being made called EPIC, and I would be kinda excited to see your reaction to some of the songs. The first nine are out for streaming currently, as of right none no others have been released yet. But, the ones that are out are absolutely phenomenal. Even if you don’t post reactions, I highly recommend just giving them a listen (if you haven’t heard them already).
For some reason I was paying attention to my own visceral reactions to these different singers and I find it really interesting how someone’s movements while singing can really distract me from enjoying their performance. When you give vocal lessons, do you ever talk to people about their body language while singing? I’m not talking about “natural” seeming movement, Im talking about movement that makes it look like they are almost trying to act out the song. It also seems like the people who move more also sing faster. Anyway, no one needed any of that. 😂 I really really really hope you react to Olivia’s song, All American B*tch and Lacy. Pretty pretty please!

I get what you mean I have been singing for a long time and I posted a cover it's on my RU-vid channel plus I posted it on his discord but now that I posted it and I've seen everyone else's it's made me notice how average mine is compared to everyone else but sometimes you gotta just go for it don't let fear hold you back you got this
