Ngl for me when it comes to demise is the tunnel part. The way how it felt so creepy and unsettling when playing and MX sounding like a psychopath on demon time and then when he does the whole (kinda) spamming notes thing really it’s the spot for me. And meanwhile BF accurately doing the tunnel music from super Mario mixed with the creepiness like GODDAM

Why does no one give props to the part in Bad Day that comes when Mario starts dancing? That shit hits!

Something i wanna point out is Mario's vocals in Alone. Pretty sure it was Red himself who did em, he's pretty known for his very good mario impression and besides he composed to song aswell so!!!

The fact that the start of overdue is so overlooked but the best part of the entire song is just insane

the only thing i would say for powerdown or any of the mx songs, there is a lack of "WAAHOOOOO" 's. In v1 it had a more "this is my iconinc signal that means you should fucking run" however the one in v2 you cant even hear it and sound more like "i had to say it for the clout" (EDIT: i didnt say it isnt there at all. its there... but like other people say it, you can barely hear it. and like i said, since thats thats its iconic line that should give fear to bf, it is just weird he doesnt scream it like in v1.)

For me, all stars act 2 easily is my favorite part. When Yoshi, Luigi, and Wario take turns singing, then all sing together, just sounds good in my opinion. Edit: ( It sounds especially good with other versions of all stars, like the Triple Trouble version).

HallyBoo and BF's voices mesh surprisingly well together, and the really up-beat yet intense Swing feel of the instrumental is just so GOOD. Plus, any reference to Mario Party DS is a MASSIVE w. EDIT: Also I really appreciate that you ranked different parts for each act of all-stars and unbeatable rather than just doing the lazy and kind of tired option of picking the entire song (Exception being the part for act 4 of All-Stars, since words are really not enough to describe that segment).

The only thing about "The End" that isn't forgettable to me is the screams in the beginning. So many chills crawled down my spine hearing them, which I have never felt with a screaming sequence in quite some time.

On thing I have to say, I am like you with Overdue. I also feel like the beginning was very good.

Personally, Demise had its best part right where you cut off, and Overdue’s best part was the transition from the first background to the second. Also I do prefer V2 over V1 a lot, I do like the absurdity of Raciest Mario’s V1 voice, and The End is pretty good. Up until where you cut it, Demise does feel like a blur tho.
