Hes got NFL caliber arm strength and he goes through his progressions, looks off safeties.. this kid gonna be a steal.

For anyone saying "he locks into his primary target"...Did you even watch this video? 0:49 - here he is looking off the short crossing route before throwing a dime deep. 1:16 - You get to literally watch him make a read and watch him quickly react and throw another dime 2:04 - Proof is in the pudding here...makes a couple miss while quickly readdressing the pocket and escaping while looking downfield 4:16 - Hits secondary target with nice ball placement while scrambling right with defender in his face 5:29 - Looks like TE Seam is his 3rd read - either that or he was just holding the safety with his eyes...which is impossible if you "lock into the primary target" 6:09 - Please watch this - the safety comes up and he's going to glance at him before making the decision to throw the wheel. 7:54 - Selling PA again, opening up with his eyes looking right probably keeping the safety before throwing a bomb to the opposite side. 8:04 - 2nd option while running away from 2 defenders 8:22 - Watch him hold #20 to the wide side of the field before throwing opposite again 8:50 - This play was pretty bad by the defense - but only worked because he was able to look off his primary 9:04 - This is a goody, look like a delayed DB blitz which Lance picks up and thinks about throwing that direction - pulls down and makes a great play 9:38 - Once again he playactions and sets up one way - throwing deep the other direction.

I live in Fargo and have gone to alot of NDSU games, I was at his 1st start game, against Butler. Walking in I heard that Lance was starting, I wondered, "Why are they starting a redshirt freshmen at QB when they have a transfer from Iowa State who could be starting instead and has more experience then Lance does". After seeing him pass or run for 5 touchdowns, I knew why hw was starting. And I was at the National Championship Game that NDSU won as well. I wasn't at the game they had in the Fall, no fans were. He has been flat out amazing. The 9er fans will love him.

I'm here because I saw him pop up on a mock draft going to my 49ers. We could use some mobility at QB!!!!

When NDSU plays Oregon this year that’ll be the big determiner on how good Lance is. Considering NDSU’s history vs P5 teams I’d say he’ll do fine.

I like how you combined his 28 passing TDs with his 14 rushing TDs. But still to go 28-0 TDs to int is still pretty good for a season.

Good balance. Good playmaking ability (which already means good pocket presence/awarness) Runner style QB. Solid arm talent... damn Not bad Has the goods to offer. Now off to watch more tape. He has my interest. Much better than my Giants #8's film.

The way this season is going.. The 49ers will be in the top 10 in picks.. We should draft this kid and develop him for a year.. Cutting JG10 will save 24M and only have 2.8M in dead cap..

Watched all his games and has great arm strength, very accurate and great athleticism. He also does a great job seeing the field and why no interceptions. He is no doubt going to be in the NFL and in many recent mock drafts a 1st rounder and I think going to be a very solid QB

I know everyone wants him to be the next mahomes or deshaun Watson but this kid is raw as hell. He literally stares down one receiver and when his first read is not there he just runs. Players in the nfl will light this kid up if he doesn’t learn how to move his eyes

NDSU QB Trey Lance had as close to a perfect season as one could get. As a Redshirt Freshman, Lance threw for 2,786 yards & 28 TDs while also rushing for 1,100 yards & 14 TDs. He scored 42 total TDs without throwing a pick. His lone blemish was one lost fumble. The Bison finished the season with a perfect (16-0) record winning its 8th Championship in nine years. Man this kid might be something special in the NFL. I also noticed terrible tackling by some of those defenders in this clip. Not wrapping up and blown coverages. They were letting every receiver beat them downfield. Still giving credit to Trey cuz you still gotta see your man open and deliver it perfectly.

Man had 42 tds because he played 16 games. But the kid can throw and throwing zero picks is really impressive.

With the news that the Broncos (my team) GM will be at his pro day I decided to look up this kid and I gotta say, he's good and I wouldn't be opposed to us taking him if he falls to us

The more I watch I am coming to the determination that this kid only does two things really good and that is throw the deep ball and run with the football not sure that is going to be enough to be an elite quarterback at the next level.
