they went out with a bang, but it ended up underrated and Black Box died on the bed :'( - that was it, the devs who brought you the childhood memories of NFS Underground 1/2, Most Wanted, Carbon - they died.

It was because of the physics, graphics, soundtrack and story. Not because is the last game from Black Box.

Unfortunately they dont care about your entertainment anymore they want money and they do that by releasing a game with great potential and let it die shortly after release and make you pay for additional content

Yeah, they really hit their peak for this one - except not including freeroam and making it a linear game. It saddens me that they died after the release of this game.

The gaphics aged really really well. I'd say if this game had more tiny details, more polygons on the cars and higher quality textures along with a small lighting update it's already up to 2020 standards. If someone were to make a mod using car higher polgyon models from another game it would already look good.

It is one of the best, side to side whit hot pursuit

I'd say it looks better than Heat but not so much as 2015. If they had a small update to the lighting, details and polygon count. It'll be up to par to today's standard.

If you want nostalgia try out nfs most wanted in ps2 :P

There’s proof that the game was meant to be longer and having the story include all tiers of cars.

@@KitKata507 I know. It was even a plan for free play modes. As in select any level and any car and just drive alone, vs the clock or vs a pack. That I would have loved to see to name one vs just challenges. But... time is always a great enemy of game development.

i agree. it lacked in both content and polish, but it got so many things right that later nfs games just haven't been able to. including one of the greatest handling models i've experienced. that's just my opinion of course.

From all Black Box NFS this NFS have the least amount of mods available. NFS MW 2005 have graphic mod, more cars mod, sound... But this NFS it doesn't have these mods (well maybe traffic car mod) But my biggest wish about this game to be a patch available for PC with the console stuff like the Italian Pack DLC and the exclusive signature edition cars (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Tier 6 Busuto looks so badass. I want it so bad).

Agreed. While i understand why objectively it didn’t do so well cuz it was so short, the entire campaign had me immersed. The stuff it did well it knocked out of the park

Hot Pursuit 2 on PS2 is amazing and even Nfs 2 is awesome and Porsche Unleashed as well but he won't play them cause he is a Ricer fanboy he is not a good community representative as a lot ppl prefer those games over Underground 1 and 2 and even MW'05 I am playing those games in quarantine and I am having a blast he thinks it all started from Underground but nah HP2 is where it started he even says that HP2010 ruined the series but he is wrong it sold better than those rushed out BlackBox NFS games I even enjoyed Rivals and HP2010 and Rivals are my fav. Nfs games alongside HP2 and he will got mad just cause he thinks Criterion's NFS are Burnout with real cars but the fact is there are ppl who want a game like Rivals or Hot Pursuit as he got what he wanted games with bland customization which failed badly

I need to find patches to install those onto Windows 10..... I have everything from NFS: II - NFS Underground II on disc for pc, but can only install the Underground games and games after that. Does anyone know of a site with patches to make the games run on Win 10 and have HD widescreen mods????

At least it have better customization than NFS HP 2010 and NFS MW 2012.

Well yes it was short but i enjoyed playing... It reminds me of most wanted and carbon... Like racing a bot and thinking about how you knocked off your brotha off the cliff in the fastest car in nfs carbon with split screen mode multiplayer

Its good as it is now, nothing needed to be changed actually, it is also more iconic in older consoles like xbox360 or xbox360 classic

I watched 360Felipe (I think it was his channel name) that he done video with 2 cars is possible to play without cars - Chevrolet Cobalt LT and Dodge Minivan but it is very glitchy.
