I agree that's its a poor choice of words. 2 wrongs dont make a right. I dont understand why Madlyn was so angry about it tho, given that Madlyn was MAD that Randall WOULDNT sleep with her. The entire time she was partnered up with Randell, she made it obvious how into him she was infront of Colby. She was constantly making sexual advances with Randall with 0 regard for Colby, even going as far as insulting his character to everyone she speed dated. Not to mention she was a huge, drunken mess of a cunt to Shanique. I was happy that Colby wanted to use the time to get some hookup time with some else since Madlyn was so eager to do so the entire time. I don't think they should be married but I also completely understand where Colby was coming from. Madlyn and Alexis were by far the worst people on the show

I think a lot of people in their mid-late 20's and 30's are right in the gap between massive generational changes and societal perspectives and it's caused a weird dynamic between traditionalists and "non-conformists" who are adapting to the world at present. There's a bunch of people in this demographic that are trying to live more traditionally, get married young, and start a family, while others are very aware of their youth and feel not prepared/ready yet, or are not interested and want a different lifestyle that might not have even been possible until now. There's way more options for whatever lifestyle you want to live now, but a lot of people are still using their parents as a guideline who were married and/or had kids by their mid to late twenties. When talking about what I'm doing in life to other people, I get a weird mix of "You're still young, you have time", "I had no clue what I wanted at that age" to "Are you going to get married and have babies soon? You're kinda getting up there in age", "You should have a house, a family, and your own business by 24/25". It's really confusing and tiring sometimes when there's so many conflicting opinions being thrown at you. Also, covid, inflation, the ridiculous real-estate market, and the worsening climate crisis are making a lot of younger people not want start a family anytime soon, unless they were already engaged or married and wanting or trying for kids. The world is changing so much right before us and the old ways of life might not be applicable in the near future, but some people are ignoring it and continuing on as usual. Dang, I didn't mean to go on a full-on rant, but I think about this fairly often lately :/

I don't see how that's a red flag, as many other cultures do this and it works for them. In highly religious or conservative countries, people don't live together before marriage, yet they still have successful marriages.

It was hard to watch how distressed most of the couples were with the situation. They all expected this to galvanize their relationship and instead it was irreparably damaged, a lot of them were too afraid to even fully invest in the experiment because this whole concept is just so wrong.

@@lauratroy13 Yeah, if you're going to an expensive 5-star restaurant, you'll expect the food to be amazing; If you're going to a generic fast-food restaurant, you expect it to be edible and decent tasting. The judging criteria is different depending on the circumstances. For how much production costs, Batman better be at least somewhat good. For trash shows, most trash is just boring and predictable, but some shows are a higher tier of trash. You go in expecting regular, everyday trash like you can find in a basic suburban kitchen bin, but sometimes you find a massive, disturbingly hypnotic, mound of trash that's glistening in the sun and gets more interesting (or possibly disturbing) the longer you look at it. 😀 Basically, it's an intense, extended train wreck.

U can literally see him put his hands on her first and start to yank her back to stop her from leaving the room, and she's said on social media since the show that they were shoving each other bc she's trying to get out of the room in that scene, but the back and forth shoving wasn't shown or mentioned since they were in the other room by then. He also said on his social media not to judge either of them based on what was shown in the episode, implying that they didn't show it all. Multiple entertainment news outlets have covered this already, just go read one. idc if you believe it, it's literally reality TV and cut together inauthentically to be as dramatic as possible.

@@blesshim5634 from what I saw he wasn’t being violent at all. Trying to hold your partner’s hand or embrace them is kind of a standard gesture when trying to resolve an argument with a partner. I did not see yanking or shoving.

I literally don't care about what you think happened. Believe whatever you want, it's reality TV, but what I'm saying is it isn't and will likely never be a false accusation bc zay himself didn't even deny it when she said they were shoving each other. All he said was not to judge anyone based on what was shown. An accusation is not proved one way or the other, a false accusation is proved false.
