Took my parents there today based on this vid. Looked like they were short staffed but after like a 7-8 minute ( we were the only ones there) wait to have someone take my order they were on point. Think they took your advice and dialed the salt back on the shrimp. I could see going back and getting something in the future. For the price you get a lot. I told him I found out about them bc of this vid.
Exactly! Even three years ago. Is it a business or a charity. They're basically giving food away. You couldn't get a big Mac for that price three years ago.

That shrimp on top of fries would have been even better! As a diabetic, I find that potatoes are infinitely more generous to my blood sugar than pasta! Plus... I just love fries, lol. (P.S. I didn't get diabetes from what I ate, I have metabolic disorder from not eating enough and not getting enough vitamins and minerals. I have actually reversed my diabetes. Not even on insulin anymore!🙌)
@@AngelaHeron-bb5qk lots of vegetables, low glycemic index fruit and grains, LOTS of protein and exercise. Getting that A1C down is very important. And checking your blood sugar often so you can see how different foods affect your blood sugar. As you figure out what spikes your blood sugar, you'll know what to avoid which will help you make better choices.
I went their numerous times and the first time I ordered a crab boil it was good. The second time I ordered this seafood sub and it was good. So my daughter and I were craving lobster so we went there,but unlike yours ours was over cooked. I'm a seafood junky grew up on it so I don't play no games about my seafood well food period lol. I admire you for doing these reviews. I am one that will give it to you raw about food just like you. You have to have a passion for good eating and an awesome palet to know about good food. Thanks for all you do.

@@reginaldjones2428 I’m in Fayetteville as well and Uptown’s makes my soul sooo happy. The fried chicken is always perfect, the Mac and cheese and yams taste like Mama nem made it and the greens are bussin. Don’t get me started on the shrimp and grits!! Yea that’s my spot lol.
The safe way to avoid over salty food is to leave the rice, potatoes or veggies bland because they will act as a palate cleanser if you get some over seasoned food. You always add salt later. Great review my man.
I have only been there once. Last year with a coworker and overall I was impressed with the food; I got the salmon with asparagus and potatoes...delicious, but they could ease up on the glaze for the salmon. Very overpowering. The only thing I didn't like... they made us wait OUTSIDE for an HOUR!!! They forgot they were catering a party and decided to set up last minute
This came up to watch a whole yr late but 😄 ...I've lived here 6 yrs and still struggle with finding good food😆😆 Glad I found this channel, I will be trying this place!!!!!!

I have been staying at hotels in Greensboro alot recently and I'm always trying out the restaurants in the areas so when I saw this video pops up I clicked on it immediately. I use try this place when I go back to spent 5 days in December. So far I love the Smoky bones and I was impressed with the steak at the hotel I stayed. I never saw this place while I was there.I must see how far it is from my hotel.Seems like it will worth the drive.

Me tell you! One of the best, if not thee best meal I cooked, I was on the Daniel's Fast and I didn't taste a thing. I smelled my way through everything; even to season raw food, I sniffed it out. I believe my senses were heightened. God won't fail you when you be bout his business!
When it comes to Catfish, what makes a great 10 catfish? You know as everyone, can fry catfish in many different ways. I like mine with NO bones after getting a bone caught in my throat. Not necessarily I’m a certified cook of 18 years. I’m also vegan, lol but I cook all the protein on the grill. Steak,chicken,fish and I don’t taste nothing… I mean I haven’t been vegan my whole life. LOL. I just watched his first few videos on his channel & basically said the same thing. I'm like this don't even seem like the same guy. Voice is higher & he's way more energetic in these older videos. Now we have the deep voice & "sexy/too cool for school" persona. I think THIS is his authentic self & what we see now is the fake persona.

That shrimp and mac would cost at least $15 in cent florida, and it looks unbelievably good. That restaurant has people talking for a real big reason !
We tried another Greensboro seafood restaurant the red crab last night for the first time. The food was great. Music was too loud. Customer service not good. Servers cussing behind us to her co-workers and one server acted like they only had two seafood crackers in the restaurant. I was shocked. I had to ask for a seafood fork; all of which should have been given when handing out the other items. We will go back for the food but the service was not what was expected.
That sucks! I don't know there have ever been any actually good seafood places in this area for some reason. Well, I guess geography is a MAJOR reason why. I'm going to try the one in this video ASAP though

There’s a seafood restaurant on south church st in Burlington nc it’s called harbor inn seafood they give you so much food most plates are fried but so worth it
Greensboro NC is a part of the Triad Area. Winston Salem, High Point, and Greensboro. The best food in NC !!! North Carolina is known for vinegar based BbQ. But you won't get all that vinegar in your food in this area !!! But the small town near the Triad area is the culprit of ALL of the good food that comes from that area That town is Lexington !!! OMG !!! The food in that whole entire area is phenomenal. I've been in NC my whole life. I'm not a fan of NC food. But the area that you are speaking of brother is a blowout !!!
